This is my third Dyson (second cordless version) and I love it. It's the same great quality and suction power as the corded and my other cordless. The best improvement in my opinion is the release for the attachments. Thank you so much for reversing the disconnection direction. It is so much more sensible and makes it possible to swap out the attachments with one hand so much faster and easier to switch things up while cleaning.

Finally a good vacuum for a decent price. I went back and forth about getting this, it's still a lot of money, but I'm glad I did. It is perfect for my one bedroom apartment with a cat on site. If I had any more rooms, the battery might just not be enough, but this is pretty great for my needs. It's a little less than what I'd expect on hard floors, but it does fine with a few passes. It's excellent on thick carpet and rugs though. The attachments are nice, cleaned my ceiling fans, got down in my heat ducts, etc. The container is a bit small but it's quick and easy to empty. Battery takes a bit to charge but that's not really been an issue. I'm happy I got this over the Shark of similar specs.

bought this a few weeks ago, easy set up, and ultra light, massive suction, and very quiet operating noise, vaccumed whole house in under 20 minutes at max power, I had plenty of power left in attery, I love how it empties and so much improved over the Dyson Animal 6. I have the charger in garage so it is out of sight. Very happy with my third Dyson in 20 years.

Love my new Dyson cordless vacuum there is very strong suction on high use lower suction for area rugs. I had a little trouble trying to empty the canister but eventually figured it out. It uses the battery up pretty quickly if using the highest suction but recharging doesn’t take too much time. I highly recommend

Like this vacuum as it’s pretty easy to handle and does have good suction on rugs and wood alike. Negative is battery life on max only lasts about 30 minutes, so using lower speed all the time. Handle/battery a little heavy and do not like need to press on-trigger continuously.

While it vacuums really well, I wish it had a light on the brush to highlight the floor (like my current vac) and wish I didn't have to hold the power button down the whole time I was vacuuming--wish there was some way you could "lock" it. Otherwise I love the vac.

Pros: cordless; strong vacuum. Cons: besides being top-heavy, you have to continuously hold the trigger while vacuuming which ends up hurting my hand slightly after several minutes; meaning the actual plastic handle presses up against my hand. The suction is very strong on carpet, which is good, but it's a little much on lighter area rugs. The battery life doesn't seem to last extremely long. The emptying mechanism isn't very intuitive but I figured it out. Overall, it's ok but I might not have bought it if I'd known about the trigger finger requirement. It's my first Dyson so I'm still getting used to it.

3 stars because the battery runs down after vacuuming one and a half floors. And they aren’t very big rooms. I do have it on the high setting. But I expected more for what I paid for it.

The first Dyson I bought would just not turn on. I chatted with Dyson they were no help. Called/chatted on line with Sams did not get any response from the store. I ended up going back to Sams and returning it for another one.

I was so excited when my husband surprised me with this vacuum. I opened it up and put to together immediately. I thought it was weird when I plugged it in that there was no lights showing that it was charging, but I thought the battery might be completely dead. I left it on the charger for 5 hours and still nothing. After searching the internet for answers, I found out that faulty batteries or charging cords happened frequently. I returned it for a full refund and didn’t buy another one.
