Best highway tire out there!

I bought my 2018f250 mid 2018 and it came with these tires. I now have 35555 miles on them and they have probably a quarter life left. I don’t tow heavy very often but they’d be gone by now if I did. My pros are road noise and balance, these tires stay pretty well balanced as they wear and they are very quiet. My only con is life span, I wish they’d last longer. I’ll either get another set of these or some 37” tire. Michelin if you’re listening you guys should start making a more aggressive 35” and 37” tire for these newer diesels trucks.

GREAT AT TIRE

I have used the old LTX-AT since 1990 and a set of snowtires. No need to put the snow tires on with the AT-2. They ran for 70K miles and were even better off road than the old AT was. I run dirt roads all the time but still out 50% of my miles on I-75 so how they handle HWY driving in rain/slush/ice/snow or dry is very inportant. I use the P265/75R16-114 on Z71 Silverado and they quite making this size. I did by the LTX-M/S2 so I will see if they get me by this fall/winter. I would rate my driving as moderate, safe, and curtious. I drive at extreme levels on test tracks for a living, testing cars and trucks. Take my word this AT/2 is the best on/off road tire made.

Michelin - Best Tires I have owned!

I got these tires for my Dodge Ram last month. Over the past month, we have had a lot of rain. The water collects in the roadway I take to work. These tires cut right through the water without my truck being pulled around. I was very impressed with how it handles on wet roadways. This was my 2nd set of Michelins I have ever purchased and I plan on buying nothing else but Michelins moving forward!

My Michelin tires are ...

My Michelin tires are installed on a Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. Snow Traction off and on road has been very good. We go snowmobiling a lot during the winter and have not had any problems getting around. I have chains I carry in my vehicle just in case but have never had a need to use them. That has not been the case with other tires I have had. Mud traction is not as good, but that would be expected with this type of tire. The more aggressive tread is ok but this is not a mud tire. On dirt roads with wet muddy conditions they still have decent traction and handling. Highway ride is excellent. I notice a little noise at freeway speeds but it is not annoying. The noise level is a little higher on concrete vs asphalt but that is the case with most tires I have run. In the rain and going through shallow standing water on the roads I have not had problems with hydro planning, water seems to disperse quickly. I have approximately 30k miles on these tires and they still have plenty of tread on them. My other SUV I have Michelin LTX on it and they went 85,000 miles and they were just barely to the tread bars. In comparison these (AT2) vs (LTX) Michelin tires I like both of them. The (AT2) are better off road. This is the first I have tried the (AT2) but it appears the mileage might be similar for tire wear. The tire is tough; I have not had any problems off road with tire failure. I would buy these tires again. I have not had balancing problems with these tires or any Michelin tires I own. But other top tire brands that I have had, I have problems with tire balance. They are more expensive at first over other tires but with the longer tire wear I believe it evens out at a cost per mile. I have not had problems with the tires so I have no comment on warranty issues and customer service.

Have ran 3 sets and now I can't get them

I have ran 3 sets of these between the LTX A/T and the LTX A/T2. I have recommended them to everyone that asks be about tires. I have a Dodge Durango and a Jeep Wrangler that run 31X10.50X15. I went to buy another set fot my Wrangler this week and found out that my tire size had been discontinued.

Bought them for F250 ...

Bought them for F250 Super duty, Use it to pull 32 ft. fifth wheel. Was skeptical of tire at first, (First time I ever bought a set of Michelin), am very impressed with them. Truck & trailer weigh together 20,000 lbs, had them for 5 years and 40,000 miles. No problems and they have at least 50% tread left.

Amazing tread life

I bought mine in 2013 for my 1988 toyota pickup. I had 154,000 miles on it then. I now have over 300,000 miles on the truck. I have not changed or rotated the tires yet. They appear to be about half worn now. I am an aggressive driver and these tires are amazing. I just wish they still made them. P235/75 R15. sigh

101,000 miles

I just bought a new set of Michelin LTX AT2 tires because I got 101,000+ miles from the first set I had on my 2012 2500HD Chevy truck. I watched the inflation and rotation schedule. I had one flat the whole time. Thank you Michelin for a wonderful product.

Wanted, the 'Best', got the 'Best'

My 2006 Yukon XL had a (non-Michelin) replacement set of tires sold to me as 'long lasting', they were hard, rough, difficult to balance and noisy... but they last a looong time. So at 148k miles I selected the Michelin LTX A/T2. All the above troubles were GONE. Smooth, balances, quiet, great wet traction and a promise of long tread life. Very pleased, convinced my sister to get the same tire for her '08 Durango.

Durable materials and comfortable

These are the best in its class. They comfortable and I have no complaints about them. I was having trouble with my old tires a lot lately and I finally changed them and I am glad I did. My car mechanic recommended me these tires and they are the most reliable and comfortable. I know Michelin is good brand and it’s pricey for a reason. They have a huge selection of options and they are very versatile and sturdy. I love these new tires and haven’t had any issues since I bought them. Best decision ever!
