Why buy anything but Michelin

Ever since I was an aspiring driver at 15 years of age I remember when my dad just put his first set of Michelins on his pickup truck. The treads were great and the raised white letters looked great against the sidewall. Through the last 30 years, I too have taken pride in putting Michelin tires on my cars and trucks because they not only look good, but give a smooth, quiet and comfortable ride. The tires I have had from Michelin have always held up to on and off road conditions and have lasted 60k to 80k miles for each set I have had. When given the choice between a slightly less expensive brand and Michelins, I always choose the Michelins as they have proven themselves to be the best in choice of tires.

Rain Snow CAN be Beat

‘16 Jeep Wrangler 18" LTX AT2 Rain Perf can’t be beat. Oklahoma Snow can be tough on lifted 4x4 pickups of all types with "Mudder" tires (a lifted favorite) I have removed countless 4x4's of all brands from local bar ditches with my LTX AT2's on my Wrangler. Always with looks of disbelief and shaking heads from the unfortunate soul in the ditch as I pull them out.

Durable and very long lasting

I would buy these tires again if they ever wear out. I have them on my F250 pick up a my E250 conversion van. The pick up has made 5 round trips from Pa. to Fl. without a problem pulling a 7000 lb. trailer and a loaded slide in camper. With the experience from the pick up I put a set on my van and had similar results. They ride well with heavy loads at highway speeds and seem to hold a balance better than other brands I have tried. The wear is even and the wet traction good for an AT style tire. Like I said I would buy these again.

Unsafe after 35000 miles

These came on my 2015 2500hd Sierra. They did ok when new, but now after 35000 miles have terrible wet weather handling. Makes me nervous to drive my truck in the rain. They have tread left, but the tread is worn past the siping. Ive rotated them based upon the owners manual.

great ride, great traction

came home the other night after tempatures had dropped through out the day, with freezing rain under a small amount of snow. I had no problem what so ever with traction even in two wheel drive. Before I would have had to lock in the front hubs and still wouldn't have had the traction that these AT/2 have.

Never Buy anything else but Michelin

Had a 2005 Chevy 05/2500 HD that I needed to replace the original tires that came on it at about 30,000 miles. I used my truck for pulling a 10,000 lb fifth wheel, plowing a 300 foot steep driveway and worried about the replacement tires I was going to need. After looking at all the available tires to put on my truck, I chose Michelin LTX A/T2 after reading reviews for the right tire and couldn't have made a better choice. They fit all the requirements I wanted in a tire, quiet ride, longevity, traction in all condition and peace of mind knowing the Michelin name was on them, which I was proud of. I can't say a bad thing about them and will put another set on my new truck. In all honesty, living in the Berkshires requires a tire that you can depend on, the weather conditions we have here go from one extreme to another. So don't make the wrong choice, make the Michelin choice !

Excellent Tires

I use these, oversized a bit, on my 06 Honda Element. They are excellent for the street and highway driving I do most, but when I get off the paved road a bit, they really shine. They keep me right where I need to be. Also, I have gotten over 100k on a set. Those results may not be normal, but if you take care them, they will take care of you - for a long time!

Great tire

I am on my second set and I have been more than pleased with these tires. I put almost 75,000 miles on the first set. I lived in western NC with periodic snow in the winter and these tires performed great in as much as 12 inches of snow. Never had a chance to drive in deeper snow. Very happy with my second set as they now have a little over 40,000 miles on them. Like anything else in life, if you take care of them, they will take care of you.

LTX A/T2...the off-road grocery getter

I've put 45,000 miles on my 4Runner's Michelin AT2 tires and think I'll get another 10,000 to 15,000 out of them. A whole lot of highway and neighborhood driving and some mostly dry off road stuff too. So far so good. They are a decent compromise of an on and off-road tire. Not noisy, decent wear, nice traction on road for an AT. Overall I'm very pleased, and while I wish they came in a D or C load rating for my chosen tire size, the E has been fine ride quality-wise, just heavy.

Great tire for mountain/unpaved roads

I live in the mountains and travel both paved and unpaved roads. This tire has held up very well and given good service. First tires I have had in a very long time that lasted more than 12 months. I average over 3000 miles a month. I drive an F350 diesel so to me this has been very impressive. The tires don't have a roar to them on pavement which I also liked.
