I have been buying Michelin tires for over 45 years. This is the set has lasted 3 years and perform as good as the first day. The set before this lasted over 9 years. They just don't wear out. If you keep them rotated and balanced and alinement you will get long tread life from them. I love the performance in both on and off the road because I drive up to the ranch on dirt and gravel roads. These tires are the best tire on the market today and are the best I have ever owned. They are smooth and quiet riding on the highway. Don't be fooled by moucho looking brands these tires will out perform any other brand hands down you can take my word on that. I have had very heavy loads in my truck and they handle them very well. These are the best tires made in the world.

I had Michelin LTX M/S for 80,000 miles on my 1999 Durango. Awesome, best tire I ever owned. Suv died before tires. Tires were still good. I was so pleased, I put brand new ones on my 2001 Tahoe with 200,000 miles. I only have 30,000 miles on new tires, but feel like brand new. I will buy again. A little more expensive up front, but over life of tire, I don't think you can buy any better tire(for a big SUV) period.

Best tire brand ever. I've purchased at least 5 sets over the years. It started when I couldn't get the vibration out one of my trucks, my tire guy said try Michelin tires. That solved the issue and I got 90000 miles out of that set. It's the only tire I'll ever buy for safety and peace of mind.

I have been a faithfull customer of Michelin tires since i can remenber. my dad always told me that they were the best for yor money and he was right. i just recently bought my second set of 4 Michelin LTX M/S tires for my truck. Now my wife likes them too, that she will not have me purchase any other brand. good job michelin. keep it up

Just had my oil changed on my GMC 3500 Duramax SRW. They were checking tire pressure and pointed out that the max tire pressure on my Michelin Defender LTX 265/70R18's on the front of my 1 Ton Truck are 44psi MAX COLD PRESSURE. The rear tires, same size, same tread pattern, same sidewall, same markings, is 80psi MAX COLD PRESSURE. Wow, the only difference i can see on the tires is three little numbers and evidently distinguish tire "rating". A great tire, this is my third set, but buyer beware that you may not be getting the appropriate tire (different speed/weight rated Defender Tires are absolutely mirror images) rated for your vehicle...MY mistake for not checking it AND Michelin's for making the tires exactly the same to the undeducated consumer. Guess that explains the blowout i had on I80 and the destroyed wheel...and thankful that after three trips from Nevada with a trailer in tow twice, once to Delaware, once to Florida, and another to Texas were without an accident...I need to go replace them before i tow my Toyhauler or Gooseneck Eqluipment Trailer again.

A few years back, I kept replacing the tires on my Tahoe every 20-30K miles then a friend told me about Michelin tires. I now have Michelins on all my vehicles not only they ride super in wet or dry conditions but they last upwards of 60K miles. The savings and the security is worth every penny threefold. Thanks Michelin for putting out a product that lasts while giving a great performance and security for my family.

Since I have bought my Michelin Defender LTX M/S a month ago I have enjoyed a few benefits that other wise would have alluded me. first the ride is second to none. you don't realize this until you have new tires, gas mileage has increased and sure footed feel is the best! Thank you Michelin!

Even wear on a ford SUV almost unheard of. By far the best tires I have ever had on a all wheel drive SUV. No they are not mud tires but on and off road traction has been wonderfull they even do good on the beach in the sand. 70, 000+ miles. They do great on the ohio snow covered roads, the beach on the east cost and the wet or dry highway. Very quiet and smooth on the road. I never right reviews most things just don't impress me enough to spend the time but this was the best upgrade for my mercury mountainer. This coming from a auto and truck repair technician with 20 plus years on the job.

In the past Michelin tires have had clean side molding process. The Defender tires that I recently purchased does not have clean molding lines. One tire tire is perfect while the other three have extra rubber “flaps* around the tire side wall. Time will tell how they hold up. Maybe I’m picky but the extra molding rubber makes them look cheap.

Being in the car business for nearly thirty years there is no tire for a light truck like a Michelin. I would have customers request Michelin tires on their new trucks. Ride, wear, and style are just a few reasons for purchasing. Once you own a set of Michelin's you'll never settle for less
