This is my 2nd set of Defender LTX M/S tires for my 2008 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab. I'm surprised to read that the latest reviews all comment about the road noise! One of the reasons I love these tires is because they are very quite!!! I've never had any road noise with either set of tires. I used to work out of state and had to make a 350 mile round trip each week. My first set held up so well that I basically had to replace them due to dry rot from age and not from wear. They work well in the rain and don't hydroplane easily.

I have used bought 2 sets of Defender LTX M/S for my 2013 Toyota Highlander and each time I have been very pleased with both the wear and performance of these tires. First set lasted around 70-80K miles and the current set has been on for ~20K miles and look barely used. These tires have lasted much better than the Bridgestone tires that originally came on the vehicle and also ride much smoother. Just got back from a road trip (8 hours there, 8 hours back) and several times literally thought to myself how pleased I was with the smoothness of the ride. I can only guess that the other reviewers with poor reviews are either fake or there is some other issue other than the tires (wheel alignment or bent rim or installation issues). I use Michelin on all of my vehicles and I have recommended Defenders to multiple of my friends based on my experience with these tires and all of them have been very pleased also.

My first set of tires which came with my 2006 Honda Ridgeline gave me 93000 miles and I know I could easily have gotten another 5000 miles out of them.I replaced them with the same tires which now have over 25000 miles and are showing no wear at all.I rotate my tires every 10000 miles.Thank you Michelin for a great product. Best tire I have ever owned. I have gotten between 75k and 110k out of every set I've owned. Great grip on dry/wet/snow until about the last 20% of tread left on the tires, then a little slick on wet/snowy roads (but that is expected with any tire). Never had any quality issues with the five sets I've owned. I have used these tires on various 2WD light trucks with no complaints. Worth every penny.

On my Chevy Silverado HD Diesel pick up they are great for mileage over the other tires I have used. Traction is great in wet weather and snow also. I will be replacing them with new ones the same when they wear out. I will get about 50,000 miles as opposed to 35-40,000 on previous brands.

I bought the Michelin Defender LTX M/S 275/55R20 for my 2016 Chevy Tahoe LT. These tires completely changed the Ride, Control, and Stability of my wife’s vehicle in Rain and on Dry surfaces here in South Louisiana. I liked these tires so much that I put a set on my 2016 Silverado Crew Cab Defender LTX M/S 275/50R22, All I can tell you is what a difference in the way my truck rides, handles, and tracks on any given road conditions. These tires are pricey, but in the long run they will pay for themselves.

Best tire I've purchased for a full size pickup. As soon as the stock tires were worn enough to replace,I purchased Michelin. Ride ,control and stability are vastly improved. Current milage 65,000 and still plenty of tread. I estimate 80,000 miles + on this set before replacement. (based on wear to date)

Sometimes it takes awhile to realize there are products that paying alittle extra for up front return far greater value AND performance over the long term. Michelin LTX M/S - LTX M/S2 tires examplify that truth. After several sets of supposedly "quality" 6-ply tires for our Suburban used to pull our Airstream trailer and having a tread separate on the last set while towing at 55 mph on a very not day in northern California, we installed Michelin LTX M/S tires and have nothing but good things to say. First the Michelin tires DO NOT LOSS AIR PRESSURE between our trips like the previous "quality" tires did. Second the Michelin tires are more round AND required minimum wheel weights to balance. Thus the ride quality is far superior to the previous "quality" tires. Third even running the same 75 or 80 psi as done previousily with the other "quality" tires in the rears on the Suburban, the stability of the Michelin's is far superior. Bottom line, I have recommended Michelin to all that will listen in our Airstream group and many are making the switch as I did. FYI we recently purchased an Yukon XL to replace the aged Suburban with over 200,000 miles and had the new LTX M/S2's installed. Just put on our third set of these tires on our 2002 Highlander. We live in the mountains of western NC and my wife would not have any other tires on her car. We are at 3,700 feet, so we do get the snow and ice. These tires have been really good for us.

Put these on my 14 Silverado. Best all season tires I have owned. They are a quiet smooth ride with excellent handling. They are excellent griping wet roads, and although they are not a dedicated "winter" tire, they are very good griping snow and ice.
