I bought these tires for my VW Passat. I have ave a steep driveway. In the winter it was a real problem for my Hankook all season tires. When I saw the tread pattern on these tires it made me think of the treads on a snowmobile. I took a shot on them. I couldn't be happier. These tires rip up my driveway with ease. They also have incredible grip going down the snowy driveway. These tires are the best tires I've ever had. Thanks Michelin!

Currently buying our third set of CrossClimate 2's. Cannot say enough good things about this tire. My wife puts 35K-40K miles a year. These tires hold up to all those miles and wear perfectly. She drives in all condition in the Mid Atlantic, and always says how safe she feels with these tires, no matter the driving conditions. Snow, ice, rain, and everything in between, these tires are fantastic! Currently have second set on our 2018 VW Atlas and our first set on 2024 Kia Sorento Hybrid.

Wanting to get away from the noisy Continentals that came with my VW Passat GT, I found the CrossClimate 2 would provide the quiet, safe, and wet ratings that I needed. I only changed two before my road trip (NC to Texas end of Aug 2021) and immediately noticed reduce noise and had better handling. In New Orleans, I was there just as the hurricane was coming bringing in heavy rain. The CrossClimate 2 handled great even in heavy downpours. Last week, I picked up two more tires.. Wow! the mechanical resonance from replacing the two continentals dropped the road noise another 10 decibels and the handling only got better. I can't stop saying great things about these tires. Have been telling all my friends this is the next tire they should get.

It's relatively quiet, smooth on dry pavement, safe on wet roads, and good in wintry roads that are plowed. So-so on ice, as it slides in the direction of the crown of the road when coming to a stop on an icy intersection, but getting moving again, no issues. But... deep wet snow, it's too easy to break traction, since the long tread blocks, while it's good for grip when it's not snowing, makes it difficult for it to cut through the denser wet snow. Yes, my car was initially on Eco drive mode, but then had to switch to a off-road mode to get going again.

I Bought them for my Ford Taurus SEL and Wife's Volvo XC60. Recommended to my Son, who purchased them for his Ford Fusion. Recommended them to my brother-in-law and sister-in-law on their Ford Edge Sport & Lincoln MKX. Also recommended to and purchased by numerous friends.

I read all the reviews but hardly any had the same vehicle as mine so it was a tough decision but I went with the crossclimate2 because of tire racks testing numbers. I have roughly 5,000 miles on them and they so far are the best tires I've owned. I replaced Mich MXV4 which were the OE but these crossclimate out perform them by far. They improved road handling,have very little road noise , are excellent in the rain and I'm still getting 35 mpg out of the V6 … the only question left to answer is how long with they last .The MXV4 lasted me 65k if these last that long I will be extremely happy.

I purchased these tires for F250 SD with a camper. The ride, load handling, and traction have been great. Also keeps me compliant for insurance requirements to have snow rated tires in winter. Handles the campe4 with ease and provides a good ride when unloaded.

Excellent tires but with two caveats: expect 10% hit on the gas mileage and significant variation in road noise increase depending on the road surface types. I have a hybrid and mileage dropped from 40 average to 36 (verified in 5 full tank cycles). The road noise at or above 60m/h varied on road surfaces in highways, ranging from 60 to 76 dB (while my old Mxv4s had max around 64, with little or no dependency on highway surface types).

Phenomenal tires. Great traction in the snow. Sure grip. Noticeable change in acceleration. Performance is far improved. Yes, there is a difference in gas mileage. I'm posting a photo of the 12 month gas mileage performance. That being said, the trade off is worth it. Also posting a photo of the tracks in the snow. With the Bridgestones that I had on the car, I accelerated in the snow and slammed on the breaks. The car swerved. Did the same move with the Michelin tires, and a sure grip. See the tracks and you'll see the sure grip. I'm very pleased with these.

I've had my tires for a couple months and have put about 3,000 miles on them. I find they are quiet, have great grip and corner well. The only downside is they have reduced my Fusion hybrid's mpg about 5%. Guess that's the tradeoff for the good traction.
