TV mount was very heavy

Very deceptive item. The unit is supposed to go from a little under 4" to 25" from the wall. To get close to the wall, you have to push the tv all the way to the right and then swivel it to the side. This means that it isn't centered on the wall. In my case, it blocks a closet door. More importantly, only one side at a time can go to 4" and the other side of the tv sticks out. In this position over one foot of the mount also shows. We called the manufacturer's help line to see whether we were doing something wrong and were told that we should have purchased their $300 mount if we wanted the tv to sit closer to the wall. With the tv facing the room flat, it is away from the wall 25" which is a lot.

Unfortunately less than a month after using this mount with a brand new tv we heard a large crash in our living room and found our tv on the floor. Luckily no one was hurt but the anchors didn't full expand ripping out our drywall and breaking the new tv. Definitely will not be using this mount again when we get a new tv

Purchased this mount yesterday (09-17-2022) after looking at all of the features and the display in the store. Before installation today, I watched the special video that was made strictly for this mount. Was surprised to see that there is a stud finder with built in level and they even showed you how to use it. This was the first problem because the stud finder just blinked the entire time you were attempting to locate a stud and never went red on the edge of a stud. The built-in level is all but useless because it is so dark you have to use a flashlight just to see it and the bubble extends almost to the edge of the tube. Fortunately I had a magnetic Stud Budy to find some of the nails in the sheetrock. Mounting the device to the wall definitely takes two people to accomplish because of the weight of the mount but once up it is a solid mount. The next deficiency that I have found is the tilting adjustment. Out of the box the tilt was forward and I followed the instructions for adjustment but there was no motion in the device. Had to take the TV off the mount, loosen the knobs, and the mounting bracket would move to the full vertical position then put the tv back on the mount and the bracket was no longer vertical. I guess I will have to live with the slight tilt. The adjustment for left to right level is a plus in my book. All in all, I think that this is one of the better wall mounts out there and a good price.

I was ready to pull the trigger on this item but something told me to shop around. Good thing I did. I was able to find similar mounts for almost half the price. Nothing against this item's quality. It's just that there are better deals out there.

Well it is heavy so figured it would be decent. Instructions are terrible and hard to see diagrams. The tv brackets needed so many spacers and washers it felt flimsy. It includes a level/stud finder that although lights up to show it supposedly works, couldn’t find a single stud in a 20 foot wall. I have 2x4 blocking built into the wall which it wouldn’t pick up so I tried it against a 2x4 I had in the garage and wouldn’t even read that. Got so frustrated with the pod, it all went back into the box before I put holes in my drywall!
