sturdy mount. very beefy and well constructed. The problem is, they've managed to make this cheaper than competitors by cutting corners on fasteners. in particular, the grip nuts that are supposed to tighten the mount's vertical tilt adjustment are cheap trash. the grooves meant to dig into the material are a bit too shallow, and only manage to scrape away paint when fully tightened. Most manufacturers will stamp a slight score pattern into the base around the hole and use a nut or washer with a slightly sharper barb to counteract the loss of friction when heavier weight is applied. All this design does is scrape away the paint surrounding the hole...and my 85" Sony X90H only weighs 105lbs versus the 135lbs it's claimed to hold.

I bought two of these. One for my 65” and one for my 86”. I wanted to give it a 4 1/2 star rating but didn’t have the option. The reason being that the tilt option is great on my 65”. It holds it in place, but the 86” over time, has started to move on its own. The locking mechanism is just not sturdy enough for the weight of this bigger tv. I still would recommend to anyone because of the build and the price. Worth the money!

This is the best and easiest TV Wall mart I have ever installed. took me 1hr. Last one took me 8hrs. The quality and workmanship is outstanding and the Price is great. Comes with a stud finder that actually works. found all the studs and I verified by measuring the 16" studs on center building code (fyi some older homes might be 12" on center). Put up the template on the wall lined up the template mounting holes to the stud location and bingo drilled a 3/8" drill bit into the stud on the very first time. I used my 13 m socket to screw in the bolts can be a little tough. you will need help to mount the TV mount on the wall because it's a 1 piece system and is heavy. both swing arm and mount are one piece (Remember to keep the swing arm out makes installing the TV on the bracket easier including attaching your cables to the TV). make tilt adjustment before pushing back tv into your desire position) Remember to size the TV bracket mounting bolts/spaceers so you don't crack tv case or over size the bolt lengths that will go through the TV screen. all different sizes are provided in the kit. no need to go by addition mount bolts. Also keep the extra bolts in-case yo buy a new TV that would need a different bolts and spacers size.

Overall quality is superb as expected. However, the mountain distance for where it screws into the TV is too short, so does not work at all. For more than 15 and a 1/2 inches we're mine was 19 inches had to return check the spacing before you buy. Lesson learned

Not the best for larger TV. Tried to mount 85" on this and the bracket is barely long enough to hang the TV and allows no flexibility if studs are off-center. Also, tilt feature does not work. We tilted forward to test positioning and now can't get it back to stay flat to the wall. We will be removing and returning.

I knew I needed to be extra picky about our mount because we needed the TV to be able to swing out away from the wall to angle toward our seating. I've been observing other mounts around and I've never liked seeing the bit of sag that can occur from mounts that don't have quite enough "bite" into the wall. Right out of the box, you can tell this is a quality mount. The action is smooth and the directions were easy to follow. I was surprised that they provided a stud finder as a part of the kit. Plenty of different options to connect to the back of different TVs. Ours is a 65" Samsung we also purchased at Sam's. While anchoring the mount to the wall, I ended up slightly off from level...bubble on the line instead of in center. It's such a pain to adjust once you have holes in studs for lag bolts that I decided to finish the install and see how it looked. I was pleasantly surprised to realize that the mount also had micro adjustments for leveling where I could literally level the TV once on and lock in with the provided Hex key. One observation when using the provided template - the holes on my template were slightly wider than the actual holes on the mount itself. I was still able to use my holes as marked and drilled - I just had to angle the lag bolts in slightly before driving them home. I'd suggest marking your hole spots from the template and then get a hand to hold up the mount to compare to ensure that they land comfortably in the available space. This would have probably helped me to land at being perfectly level. Overall, I'm very pleased. I've had great success with other heavy duty mounts in the past (Monoprice was my "go to") but Sam's really got this one right and this was more beefy than anything else I could find....I particularly wanted a longer run between the vertical anchoring spots on the back of the mount to the wall....some just seem too minimal on that side which adds a lot more strain on the mount itself.

This is a very nice mount for our 58 inch TV. Strong, sturdy and not too difficult to install with the right tools. Tip: Don't use the dinky little level that comes with it. It isn't adequate. Use a longer bubble level, like at least a 2 foot long carpenters level, to get it right the first time. Borrow one if you have to. Also, after mounting your TV, the TV can rotate clockwise or counter clockwise a bit which can be mistaken for the mount being out of level. If you dont want that, for level purposes, level the TV itself while on the mount and tighten the Allen screws on the back.

Easy to install

They give you the template which made it 100 times easier to Mount. You need to find 2 studs. Does not mount on dry wall only. Holding up my 77’’ Tv just fine. Installed in 15 mins but I knew where my studs where at. Very strong and nice looking. I was impressed. I have other tv mounts and this is the nicest one, the price was worth it for under $100

The install was straight forward. Put a 65” Samsung on it and the weight was easily handled by the wall mount. Then after several days the tv tilted forward. I readjusted it. Now it does it constantly. The wing nuts can’t hold the position. Now it is out of level. Not happy. I cannot recommend this product. I just guess that is why it has a low price.
