It has a wide angle so its gets all of the surroundings, not just in front of the car. I definitely recommend this small very very powerful and useful camera.

There's a couple different ways to install it but I used the suction cup so it wouldn't leave any marks. It comes with a convenient car charger and also one for the house. It's nice to record what's going on, on the road and im so happy to have it! The video quality is awesome!!

The picture quality is so crisp. I am impressed with the intelligent parking mode where it records any physical motion when I am not around. The night mode picture quality is also great and it auto adjusts the brightness to take clear videos. I would highly highly recommend it to anyone. Very satisfied with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have wanted a dash cam for my daily drive vehicle. The Nextbase camera is outstanding. I can't believe how clear the video is and the unit is super stable while moving. It is the best I have seen! The cam has helped me with a couple instances already while driving. Unfortunately one was where I was at fault and my wife was able to see it to prove it to me! The cam mounts in a snap and has a truly tight magnet to keep it secure. It pops right off when you need to bring it inside. Wire was easy to hide with the included tool. The wide angle lens is perfect for seeing the sides. Great free software to edit and view. Totally happy with this cam!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the fact that I now have footage if something crazy happens while I'm driving! This little camera is so convenient. First, I like the fact that they gave you a suction cup mount to not have to use adhesives (they also put the adhesive in there, but I like suction for cleaning and removing purposes). It's easy to use, comes with simple instructions that are easy to follow. It needs a memory card, and luckily I had one from a regular camera I used to have. It takes great video, and and audio, and is physically small enough to tuck away if you want. I love the piece of mind I get from having it, and you can save your videos easily on your computer in order to save card space.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best feature by far is the magnetic mount, the base sticks to the window with adhesive tape and the camera attaches to the base magnetically. Super easy to remove the camera whenever needed, the picture is tiny and not that great but does what it needs to do. Does not allow rear facing camera and can't show speed, but definitely will do what it's meant to.

I had not installed a dash cam before and the instructions were terrific; very easy and fast to follow. Right out of the box the camera appeared very high quality. The camera mount is sturdy and stays in place. The camera is easy to remove and attach to the mount and doesn't obstruct your view. I liked how the USB cable was designed to fit with the camera and mount. I took a drive after installing this and the video picture quality and color was terrific. The camera records very good pictures both day and night. The microphone records sound well and can be muted as you select. So far this has worked without any problems and I am pretty impressed with how well this is designed and how well it has performed. This is perfect for everyday use. I am also looking forward to putting this on my restored cars and using it to make videos on drives and at car shows. This has enough features for my use and I think for the price and quality this is a terrific dash cam. This is an easy choice for a great dash cam and would make a great gift.

The camera comes with two charging cords, one for a cigarette lighter and the other is a standard USB cord that will fit majority of the charging blocks. It also has a stand with a suction cup to hold the camera in place. The menu was fairly easy to navigate once I got the hang of it and which buttons performed what task. Camera shoots clear video and picks up audio within a certain distance. Takes SD card for the memory. Fun little item to play around with.

First off, it arrived super fast and was packaged so well to prevent any damage during shipping. I really appreciated it. When I opened the box I was super surprised that the memory card was in the box! Everything that was needed to set up and operate this camera was included. It even came with 2 different ways to mount the camera in the car. Setting it up was really easy. Just mount it, plug it up and turn it on. The settings are also really easy to set up. The cameras clarity is great and the range of dress in front of you is wonderful. It sees everything quite a ways ahead of you. Looks great at night too. Automatically comes on when driving and records every time perfectly. Honestly it's a great camera and it works well. I highly recommend you give it a try. This my first product from this brand and will not be my last.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good camera for a starter user, as it is very easy to set up. It is wireless, and uses an SD card to record. It is best you use the SD card from NXTBASE, per the user manual. Unfortunately, it only records up to 2 hours of footage, and also on a loop. I thought it connected to an app as described, however it does not have cloud storage, and is not wifi enabled or Bluetooth enabled. I would definitely upgrade this to one of those options to ensure I have the protection and insurance of the videos I need.
