I bought a king size bar and shared it with my husband. After we finished it, I had a weird aftertaste. I asked him if he did. He said it tasted like a bandaid. That’s what I thought but I did t want to sway his opinion. Before you ask, no we don’t eat bandaids. It actually had the aftertaste of what a bandaid smells like.

I've eaten a lot of these in my lifetime, and they are always reliably good. It is a soft candy, and is appropriate for those with dental issues. I like to put a segment of a bar between the roof of my mouth and my tongue and push my tongue upward, causing the candy to collapse and the caramel to be forced out into my mouth. It is oddly satisfying. It uses Cadbury milk chocolate, which is a little different from American milk chocolate.

I have had Cadbury chocolates for the better part of 50 years. This did not meet up to the my expectations. This candy bar obviously did not get rotated stock wise. The chocolate around the caramel Center was dry. Next time I will check the date. If you're going to sell candy bars next to the register they should be checked for the correct sales date.

This used to be my favorite candy bar but the last two times I have ordered them, the candy bars were damaged to the point where you could not get the bars out of the wrapper without the caramel getting all over everything. I would not recommend the purchase of this item. Obviously, there is something wrong at the warehouse because most of the bars were damaged, but the box appears still intact. Very disappointing. They were hand-delivered with care by two different drivers, so the problem is not the delivery.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't had a Carmello bar in years but after eating this one I remembered why I loved them so much the chocolate has such a smooth and light taste and the carmel in it is the best carmel I've ever tasted and the combination of the two is just perfection I will be buying more!!!

This used to be such a deluxe candy to eat. Smooth chocolate and yummy caramel. But awhile back I noticed the texture had changed since Hershey took over making them. But I still kind of liked them. But today the chocolate is super grainy and the caramel just ok. Chocolate from Advent calendars from a discount store would have been better. Really can’t you do better?

I loved this bar for sooo long. It was a go to. I had to stop eating them for a while when I was focusing on weight loss . I decided to reward myself recently with one…. What is this junk!? You clearly changed the recipe. THIS is not even close to what it was. Such a huge disappointment. It’s not even kinda good. Why change it?? It was so amazing as it was. Did it cost too much to make??? That’s fine- I would have paid double or more what I used to. You ruined a good thing.

Like others have noted, the new texture and test is extremely grainy; I thought I had purchased an expired bar. I've been eating Caramello since I was a child, and I'm in my mid 30s now, it's been my favorite; However, I can no longer eat this it tastes so bad!
