The cake was delicious, especially the icing. That is why I am giving 4 stars. The service was terrible. I was not greeted, and essentially asked what I needed as if I were a nuisance. The only reason I will order this again is that it is the best value for the price. It feeds a crowd and the taste is great.

The cake was delicious. Decorations were just as shown on website. The writing we asked for was correct and the cake was ready early --- all great. However, there was one edible decoration on it, a large round ball kind of the size of a BB, that was very hard/crunchy. Some of our older guests or those with sensitive teeth found them off-putting. Many folks made a joke about how they almost broke a tooth when they bit down on them -- they were that hard. People picked them off of their piece at that point. I would avoid those in the future, but other than that one thing, it was great.

The cake was very moist and well made. While the decorations were nice, the amount of options did not come close to the cake I ordered the previous year. I was disappointed only in the options, but I knew that when I placed the ordered, but it was made nicely.

The baker did not put the Decor on the cake highly disappointed. It was supposed to be Sonic the Hedgehog and it was not on the cake. Sam's Club should refund this cake and we have complained. It ruined a five-year-old birthday party to have a plain cake

Pick is a one hour window, it doesn't state cake may not be ready. Smart disrespectful remark from bakery girl is we we have until the the end of the hour to have your cake ready. I walked around the store 10 minutes later I refresh my app oh your cake is ready, I go to the bakery to pick up the cake and it looks like a total rush job. I asked for the shield design it looked more like a water wave across the cake it was just not aesthetically appealing and it was for my daughter's 14th birthday so I was not happy with this cake and I asked to speak to a manager/)>supervisor at a bakery. Supervisor came out after we had some conversation and I showed her my cake also we went over had a young lady who was responding to me asking for my cake and how disrespectful it was. The supervisor offered me the cake for free no I didn't take it I just wanted to make sure that the young lady was spoke to and that the bakery does better. I reminded her that it said my pickup window was between this time and this time not that my cake would not be done and I know that the bakery is are not professional professionals but I've gotten cakes from Sam's club before aesthetically they have looked way better.

The cake tasted fine, but they did not have the correct cake prepared when I picked it up. I did not realize this until I got back to the office; it was supposed to be whipped frosting and not butter cream. I called the bakery, they asked me to bring back the cake and they made me a new one. Luckily, I still had 1 hour until the bday celebration and had time to make the switch.

Taste is great, value is still good but the price has gone up and the options have gone wayyyy down! Used to be able to choose from themes, have a picture put on it, endless options! Now it’s on line, and the price has gone up like everything nowadays!

This was the perfect cake for my daughter's bridal shower. I ordered the chocolate cake with choco frosting and piping and added my own decorations. It was fresh, tasty and oh so chocolatey! The half sheet was the perfect size, easy to order and a great value compared to other grocery store and fancy bakeries in my area. It was ready for pickup less than 24 hours after I placed order. Will definitely buy again for other events and have recommended it to others.

The sheet cakes I have purchase from Sam’s are very good and reasonably priced. I have been shopping with Sam’s for more than 10 years. As of this year 2025 I will no longer shop there because of their stand against DEI. I will also not renew my membership.

We bought the cake for Father's Day. Everyone complimented how fresh and moist the cake was. I have spent hundreds on cakes. This cake was inexpensive, and I will buy in the future. They even added some large gumballs to the side of the cake which added much more fun to the esthetic of the cake and was a hit with the kids.
