Custom cakes are not what it used to be. Tried to order at store, was told it had to be ordered online. Wanted a picture on the cake, had to go to the store to give them the picture - wasn't an option to upload it on the website. Did not have the option for black icing on the website. Will not be ordering cakes from Sam's Club in the future.

I ordered a marble cake with chocolate whipped frosting and balloons for an engagement party for my daughter and her fiancé. Everyone and I mean everyone complimented how delicious the cake was and where did I get it. The price is reasonable and the cake is fantastic. Very moist. Not too much frosting, but just enough. It was a big hit.

Good cake. Pretty. Had trouble ordering online. Do not like smaller number of letters allowed on cake that the decorator has no control of. Must order online. Not as many choices for frosting colors. No cookie cake or quarter sheet anymore. Not happy about these changes after buying cakes here for a long time. Sam’s used to be more concerned with member satisfaction.

Cake flavor was on point as always. The decorating though was seriously lacking. The cake was white icing with teal trim. The writing on the cake was then also in white. So as you can guess white on white could not really be seen and looked ridiculous. Picked up on my way to granddaughter’s 4th bday, names were mixed up on the orders they had my name on cake and my husbands name on cupcakes. I did not have time when picking up to see if it could be fixed.

So first I would love to start off by saying I had called the store to see if there was any other color options and they told me to visit the store we can add more options in person. Okay so I show up and they look at me like I’m stupid and tell me the only options I have are online. Fine. I choose my options online and I choose one of the two color schemes (not my favorite but it will do) I go to pickup my cake day of my daughters birthday party and the cake is completely white not a single drop off color on the whole entire cake. Just white. At this point there is not enough time to re order or complain because my daughter’s birthday party was literally an hour away from starting. Disappointed in the rude customer service they displayed toward me and mega disappointed that even after I did what they said and ordered online my cake was messed up somehow and no one seemed to give a crap. Will not be using this bakery again.

I have had many cakes from Sans Club over the years. I am very unhappy with the computer options and ordering of the cake. Also there was a huge bubble under the frosting (not the cake) and we didn't notice it until we were home. We tried to fix it but it was quite the eye sore. Please go back to the way it use to be. When you could call in the order and talk to a person.

This half-sheet cake was made & decorated exactly as ordered. It was on point moist (marble) and not overly sweet with bettercream rather than buttercream. The writing on it was truly lovely and complimented the color photo that was provided. (Although Sam's, you really should allow an upload of a photo with the order please, as I had to take a print to the store, which is silly given all the technology we have.) Served with fresh strawberries, it was perfect. Oh, and at a great price to boot. Thanks, Sam's Kingston NY.

The cake itself was beautiful and delicious! Here is the problem!!! There is not enough space to put exactly what I wanted on the cake and you can't order in store. I wanted a SMALL emblem of the Air Force on the cake and a larger Congratulations on your Retirement lettering. The emblem took up most of the space on the cake! Please, Please increase the amount of characters you can put when giving directions on what we want on the cake.

The cake tastes great! However, it would be much better if there were more opportunities to customize the frosting to whipped instead of buttercream. In the past, I was able to request this customization in store but now that it has to be ordered, I cannot.

We had a vanilla cake with vanilla frosting, and it is hands-down the best-tasting cake we’ve ever had. From the very first bite fresh from Sam's Club to the last bite after it's been frozen, the flavor is rich, the cake is moist and is pure deliciousness every time. The frosting is the best frosting. It complements the cake beautifully without overpowering it, adding just the right touch of creamy decadence.
