I was told to pick up my cake. When I got there the cake had not been done and they said the machine was broken to print the photo for the cake. I was in a bind because I needed the cake for an event. I had to quickly order one somewhere else and pay double. Sam’s should have notified me early that the machine was broken so I had time to go somewhere else. They were not super apologetic but they did give me a refund. I think they should have done more as this was super inconvenient. They could have offered to pay for the new cake or given me a discount on future purchases. They seemed bothered that I was bothered.

The cake was very good. Very limited on designs sine you have to order online. Rised or balloons. Also when I shop at Sam’s I order and do curb side pick up. They would not allow this with the cake. It is very difficult for me to walk and bakery is in far back corner of the store. I didn’t know if I used an electric cart if the cake would fit in that basket. So it could be more convenient!

This 1/2 sheet cake is very tasty. Choice of white or dark cake and buttercream or whipped topping. Nice decorating, message etc. Included. We were very happy with everything about it, especially the price. Literally half of what Hy-Vee charges for a not nearly as good cake of same size.

Disrespectful bakery employees. The bakery employees would not let me order a cake and pay for it in person even though I drove all the way up there. I had to go online to purchase it even though I saw other people ordering cakes before them and saw them pre pay for them as well. The employees are also rude.

The cake was great, but stood there almost 5 minutes waiting to get my order. There were 2 women back there,one was sweeping the floor and the other was doing something at the table. Neither one came up until they were done. Really poor service, customers should always come first.I felt they were doing me a favor by waiting on me.

The last 3 cakes i purchased from Sam's club i ordered all of them just white with a shell trim (easy online order) i also ordered edible paper cake topper for my perfect cakes. Everyone has asked where i have gotten them as a lot of stores have a drier cake. Sams wasnt dry at all. I recommend them to everyone. Its made my occasions less hectic. And the people at my store are super friendly and helpful.

The colors on the cake nor the design was not as ordered. When brought to the attention of a bakery worker they said there was nothing they could do. The birthday party was the same day so we had no option other than to purchase. If we had another option we would not have purchased.

I ordered the white cake and buttercream frosting. The cake was thick, moist and yum! The buttercream frosting was not good. Tasted more like shortening with a small amount of butter. I liked the ability to customize and order online, but wish there were more customizations (like fillings). This cake does not have a frosted middle. I would buy again and try the whipped topping frosting.

It was the cutest PEPPA Pig cake and it was PERFECT for my 3 y/o’s birthday ♥️ Thank you sooooo much to the cake decorator and the person that I talked to!!!! The Lexington Sam’s has messed my kids bday cakes up the last 3 years 1 year it looked like crap, 2 &3 year my “paper got lost” I’m so glad they put it all digital and I trusted the Nicholasville Sam’s Club. I am BEYOND impressed with their customer service and the bakery!! Thank you guys SO much!

Cake as always delicious, not a fan that when you go to the store to order you have to now order online, also not a fan of you only giving us 4 color options, Just wish we have the option to choose the colors we want on our cake since you are paying it. I use to work in a bakery and when we decorated cake, we did as the customer asked.
