The amount needed to safely protect others is almost the entire container! Does not prevent slip just creates traction if generously applied!

Great value, but useless

The Excel Snow & Ice Melt is a GREAT Product!  However, the new "BLACK" bucket it is packed in is a pain to get open!  The plastic lips on the lid are much stiffer than the "White" plastic. I have to use a pair of pliers to get the lid off.

Great Product. Not so great package.
