Not only do I use my clear view toaster to toast up the waffles I make ahead for my kids with my mini dash makers but I also use it to toast up frozen hash brown patties. The are cooked to perfection in half of the time. No oil mess and an equal amount of time as using the air fryer! The possibilities are endless with this space saving gadget!

I purchased the Dash Clear View Toaster based on the reviews I researched, and especially based on the one that America's Test Kitchen gave on it's YouTube channel. After using a Black&Decker $20 toaster for the past 8 years, which served me very well, I have to say that the Clear View Toaster is a far superior product. Not only does it toast evenly, but it retains some of the moisture inside the bread, while leaving it nice and toasted on the outside. I've never had toast not taste dry without any butter or other garnishments, so this was a pleasant surprise! I believe this has something to do with the heating elements, which are not the standard wires; rather they are large element tubes located at the bottom of the heating tray. Another thing I love about this toaster is the space-saving design. The single-slot design also allows me to toast wider pieces of bread, like my favorite Goldminer's Sourdough, without having to cut the slices in half. The view window is a nice addition, but based on how I have my toaster orientated, it's not a feature I will use often. The outside remains cool to the touch and also is very easy to clean. It matches the other appliances I have around my kitchen, including my appliances!Dash, great job on making a great product! So far, I am really enjoying my new toaster!Chris

The book that shows the way bread looks toasted on the number settings is very helpful. Its also nice outside look and color.

I've had my new toaster for about 2 weeks now and I really like it. As I like larger bread slices from round loaves, this toaster works beautifully. It toasts evenly and you can actually see it toasting. You can adjust the browning to your exact needs. Best toaster I've ever had. Read the enclosed instruction book to get the best results. My husband likes to toast his waffle using the defrost button. It defrosts first, then continues on with the perfect degree of browning that he likes. Great machine!

I have only owned the Clear View Toaster for a short time but am happy with the purchase. It toasts nicely and I enjoy being able to view and monitor the bread as it browns. I reserved one star because it will take time to find if this toaster is made to last.

I bought this toaster over 3 years ago and love it! It toasts everything beautifully, and I really like the one, long slot at the top, which allows toasting of larger specialty bread slices from sourdough rounds or large Italian loaves. We are a family of 9 and have put this toaster through HEAVY use (in big family years, this toaster is about 12 years old, lol). I'm back to buy another just like it, as we have worn ours out. I'm picking this same model due to its dependable functionality as well as its low profile on our counter. LOVE the slim, long profile - it seems to take up much less space on our counter. It tucks up against the wall and leaves most of the counter available for other tasks. We live in a 200-year-old farmhouse, and the retro styling fits well with our white cabinets with their black-strap hardware (we have the black toaster). I would recommend this toaster!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a toaster fanatic...always looking for a better one! This one may be “the one”! I love the window so you can keep an eye on your progress. The bagel function works well and we use it for toasting hamburger buns and it works great! It’s amusing that the toast pops up and OUT of the toaster... sometimes it lands on top of the toaster or flops onto the counter; it doesn’t bug me, my counters clean. It took probably 20 uses for the browning to regulate; at first the top portion of the bread would brown significantly more yhan the bottom. Idk why but it seems to have worked itself out and browns evenly now. I love it!

Having a window into your toaster and being able to stop if it starts browning too quickly is one of those things you always wanted but didn’t know existed. This buttons and knobs are great. Easy cancel button and large, easy to use and see knobs. I really think that this is a great toaster. Quickly toaster your favorite toaster. Easily fits on most counters & I love the side be side length size design over stacked ones.
