Premature Tread Wear on Larger Vehicles

I'm a 30 year loyal Michelin fan, but the Latitude Tour HP missed the mark. Almost crashed my '13 Land Cruiser, this winter during a low speed turn in snow. I checked the tires afterwards and was shocked to see the advanced tread wear. The tires are 21 months old, under 35,000 miles, nitrogen filled, balanced and rotated on schedule. Not a good value for the HEFTY PRICE! LTX Tires are simply the best, but didn't come in the correct size for my SUV. The LTX's are quiet, with great traction, even on ice. Latitude Tour HP's appear to wear prematurely on lager vehicles.

Great tires! Very happy with the purchase.

Purchased a set of Defender LTX M/S tires for our 2008 Toyota Highlander Limited. Could not be happier! Smooth quiet ride, with very good handling. Recently traveled about 1400 miles over varying types of road surfaces and mountain driving. Felt a lot more comfortable coming down the steep and winding mountain roads that we have traveled many times so very familiar with those roads. Nice looking tires as well. Have not tried rain or snow yet so only rating performance based on dry roads.

FANTASTIC TIRES!!!

I bought a 2005 Volvo XC90 used two years ago. I took a set of Goodyears off this car (that were not completely worn out) to put the Lattitude Tour HP 235/60/18 on. The difference between these two tires is amazing. This tire is absolutley WONDERFUL in the rain & snow. They handle verrrrrrry good in dry conditions as well. They are very quiet on the highway, and for the weight of the vehicle that they are on now, they have lasted a very long time. I most definetly will purchase another set of these tires!!

Great Tire Design

The moment I pulled out of the parking lot after getting them, it felt as though I had just bought my vehicle new again. Very quiet, and looks like it will be great in snowy conditions. I am sold on Michelin tires. Have owned them for years. Sad to say, this is my first review. I know it will not be my last. Thank You Michelin.

I wouldn't buy anything else!

I have been running Michelin LTX M/S tires since the purchase of my first 4Runner in 1998. They are quite, hug the road in all weather conditions, long lasting and smooth driving. They are without a doubt the best tire I have ever run. I won't buy anything else.

Great tire! Best I have owned.

This is the first set of Michelin tires I have ever owned. They came standard on my 2010 Ford Edge. I was totally pleased with the performance and the life of these tires. I just replaced them after 68,000 miles, and had I not been worried about the tread depth during the winter months, I probably could have gone another 10 - 15K on them. Needless to say, I replaced them with another set of Michelin Lattitude HP's. I have heard mixed reviews about the tread life on Micheilns, but in my experience, they have performed much better than other brands I have purchased. They also offer a more comfortable ride.

3 years & 50k miles later and I still love these tires

I purchased a set of Michelin Latitude Tour HPs for my Porsche Macan S based on a recommendation from a tire dealer, and after doing my own research. The tires provided very good grip and positive traction in all New England weather conditions. The tires were installed 3 years ago, and I put 50,000 miles on them. As the tires approached the wear indicator, they started to get noisy, so I replaced them with another set of Latitude Tor HP tires.

outstanding tire that keeps going& going

We got our first set on a used vehicle, we drove it all the time in all kinds of weather and had no issues! The tires we had on our other vehicles were wearing out and dry rotted within the 1st year of having them. We were replacing them all the time and theses Michelin tires kept on going and going like the energizer bunny. So we said enough is enough and we replaced the rest of the cars with Michelin tires too. Lets just say the tires out lived the cars. So now that is the only tire we look at and will buy. And we will make sure our kids do the samething. So what ever you are putting in that tire Michelin don't change a thing, it is perfect.

Michelin LTX All Weather Tires

Have had these tires for over a year. Threads are still looking brand new. Come with 80k miles, and come with free rotation from the dealer where they were purchased. Will definitely be putting the same tires when I replace my wife's SUV tires this winter

2 sets of LTX M/S

The LTX M/S tires are standard equipment on my 2005 GMC Envoy Denali 2WD. I am preparing to get my third set of tires for this vehicle, yet I only have 76k miles on the vehicle, which means I only get 34k miles out of these tires per set. My complaint is the tires seem soft, and I do not get the expected mileage out of these tires. I am trying to get a set of Michelin LTX AT2's but they are on a long back order. I have the LTX AT2s on both a 2009 Chevy Silverado 3/4 ton 4x4, and also on a 2002 Chevy TrailBlazer 2WD. I get fabulous tire wear on these vehicles.
