HDMI with ARC and optical sound output makes it possible to use my surround sound receiver when I want to, or just use the TV sound when I don't. I was able to connect the TV to my Google Home/Assistant for voice control. But, I can't get it to work with Alexa. Still trying to figure that out. I hope they're adding more apps to the WebOS. There's no ESPN, NBA, NHL, NFL or Discovery. There is MLB, however. The stand doesn't feel it's very secure. If I nudge on the TV with my finger, it will move. But I guess as long as we don't run into it, it'll be fine. But, probably won't hold if there's an earthquake.

LG's was better, brighter, richer colors noticeably. And that is what I am getting in-home.

Reading the instructions it seemed daunting to me but hook up was really quite easy because the cords only fit in the right place. Once on there is on screen instructions to get it operational. The picture quality almost is like watching in 3D. The people seem to stand out. Easy to use remote and lots of options.

new needed repair

brand new out of box optical connection did not work had to contact LG for repairman we have had other problems: disconnects internet can't reconnect wont let us select connect internet have to unplug unit for a few minuets, plug it back in have internet. After watching movie and go to another channel to watch something else after a few seconds previous channel comes on screen, but did not change back to previous channel we purchased 2 LG TV's other is a 55" both do the same thing. LG Pluto channels will come up on one TV other states, were having trouble with this channel please come back later. same time. Don't buy this cheap TV, you get what you pay for "garbage" Will never buy another
