Difficult to use

The picture, once you figure out how to get a station, is very good. What is really terrible are the poor directions to use the features. What would have been nice is when its turned on the first time you get a tutorial of what to do to set it up with the features you think you want, step by step. I have had it for a month and still cannot figure out what it does apart from TV. I am not stupid! I have three college degrees including one. on computer science. Your new customer experience is terrible.

love LG tv's

I AM VIEWING THIS TV FOR A FRIEND BECAUSE I RECOMMEND IT.I have 2 LG 4k tvs so good i don't need to get a black friday deal i have a UH 7700 55 incn and it has preformed beautifully for 3 years or more.You can't go wrong with a LG.I have another 55 inch tv that is just as nice.I get tv fever on black friday but Mine Is Fine today so if it aint Broke Don't Fix.If you get a Bad one just return it and get a new one

PURCHASED 8/29/19 DIED 12/5/20 JUST OUT OF WARRANT

LASTED 1 YR AND 3 MONTHS IN A CLEAN NON SMOKERS HOUSEHOLD. NO CHILDREN OR TEENS EVER IN MY HOUSE. ROOM TEMP WAS WITHIN 4 DEGREES AT ALL TIMES. IDEAL SETTING FOR ELECTRONICS. YET IT DIED WAY TO QUICK! AND IT ONLY HAS A 1 YR WARRANTY. LG SAID THEY MIGHT REVIEW MY DILEMMA. IT'S NOW 12/10/20 NO ONE HAS CONTACTED ME BACK VIA EMAIL AS I WAS TOLD THEY WOULD. I WOULDN'T BUY AN LG. EVEN IF I HAD GOTTEN THE EXTENDED WARRANTY MAKING IT 2 YR WARRANTY WHO WANTS TO DEAL WITH THIS KIND OF PROBLEMS. THIS TV WAS A BAD INVESTMENT AND CHOICE.

Great for the price!!!

I got this in-store when it had the $50 tech discount. I had just returned the Samsumg equivalent (55UHD 4K), and the discount made this TV the same price as the Samsung equivalent. Samsung's TV was full of bloat-ware, and they have this Samsung TV Plus that constantly streams and downloads things in the background. Performance was sluggish. You can't remove it, so you're stuck with it!!! So I returned the Samsung and will not buy another again. I saw this LG TV marked down so I read reviews while in-store, then I bought it. This is my first LG tv and I'm very happy with it. For the money, it's great. Nice quality image and smooth motion, good colors. Sound is good but not great (which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5). Speakers point downward. Not a deal-breaker. Most people have sound bars anyway. LG tv has 3 or 4 HDMI plugs, component/rca, antenna, optical audio, and ethernet. Samsung equivalent only had a couple HDMI plugs, no component/rca. LG tv interface is smooth and fast, and the remote is awesome w/ a pointer and also scroll wheel. The pointer is really incredible! Samsung equivalent tv interface is slllooowwwwww, and remote is confusing and crap, with slow response to remote commands. I am very pleased that I returned my Samsung equivalent for this LG tv. Do yourself a favor, skip over the Samsung equivalent and get this TV while that $50 tech savings deal is still on. In all honesty, I would still pay $50 more for this LG TV. For crying out loud, to get more apps on Samsung, you have to create a Samsung account!!! You don't have to do that with LG.
