Great fit and look!

The material is soft and cozy but still breathable without that heavy look or feel that some sweater dresses give you. This makes it perfect for chilly days without being bulky or making you feel sweaty indoors. It also fits and feels like a dream—just the right balance between comfort and style. The softness of the weave almost makes you want to cuddle up and watch a good movie. I love comfy sweater material without any of the itchiness or bulk that so many unfortunately bring to the table. The dress has a flattering silhouette that works well for both casual outings and a dressed-up look with the right accessories. As you can see in my pic, I added my gold chain belt to accentuate my waist and give it a dressier feel for date night with my hubby. I get so many compliments every time I wear this dress and the fact that I can be so comfortable wearing it is a HUGE plus. The quality feels top-notch, and it’s become one of my go-to pieces this season. I highly recommend for anyone looking to stay warm this season by adding a versatile and stylish piece to their wardrobe!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOOOOOOVE THIS DRESS! This is by far the comfy and softest dress I’ve ever put on my body. I’m 5’9” 130 lbs and the small was long enough and fit perfectly. I got it in the color “SYRAH” and it’s the perfect shade to pair with boots and wear to all my holiday events. I can’t get over how amazing this dress really is!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a cuuute sweater dress - super versatile. It can be used as an oversized sweater with leggings, or it would make a cute dress. I got mine in a size large, and it fits rather nice. I usually wear a medium. The shade of purple is pretty & so be nice for fall. It is comfortable enough.. not super soft but soft - I could see this material getting more rugged the more it is washed. I do like it & I will enjoy wearing it this season.

Very soft but very hot! comfy and great fit but had a snag in it when I got it.

Shapeless and huge. It's as if the waist is somehow larger than the chest? It hangs like a tent. It's the strangest cut.

I’d probably give it a 3.5 stars if I could, it’s not quite worthy of 4 stars but not quite as low as 3 stars. The nice: • Super soft, almost silky, none of that scratchy sweater material. • Warm and comfy has me reaching for it over other items • The fitted wrists are an elegant touch, and allow you to push the sleeves up and they stay until you pull them down. As someone who works with their hands a lot, I really appreciate not having to push my sleeves up repeatedly. • The red is a really pretty color. When selecting this product to try, names of colors were listed, but no pictures to indicate what the color might look like. I went with “Syrah” since I was pretty sure that would be red, and I was correct. • Easy to dress up or down The not so nice: • I’m personally not a huge fan of the v neck. I would have preferred a round or turtleneck even. • Already after the first wash the material showed signs of wear, balling, and makes me wonder how this will hold up with repeated wear and washing. • This dress gives just a bit of “sack” vibes, not in a good way. I’m probably also a bit between an M and a S, although I enjoyed the looseness and comfort, it might have been just a bit more flattering for a pear shaped person such as myself to have it a bit more form-fitting. A belt might help. Also, when writing this review, I was asked which one I tried? “Jessica Simpson Sweater Dress” or “Jessica Simpson Sweater Dress” from a drop down menu, with the same identical picture of the dress in a light beige. I just chose one, not sure how that will show up with this review, but I tried the red “Syrah” one as pictured.

The dress runs extremely large, plus it is very long! Hits me well below the knee and I'm 5'5"

Oversized sweater dress, did not look well on me.

After first washing, the sweater looks like it was worn a couple of months. Thread is very thin, and it is very easy to make a hole.
