Not lifetime warranty if...
I purchased my Nectar king size mattress back in April 2018. I will admit, once I aired it out for 24hrs or whatever it stated in the instructions, my first night was one of the best sleeps I ever had. A couple weeks and still was pretty good. After a few years in 2021 I noticed my side (im heavier than my wife) started to have a dip. I noticed this when I switched with her for a few nights due to back issues. Now June 2023, I have had many back issues, it is uncomfortable to sleep some nights. My wife and I both wake up with our back hurting many mornings for years now. So I reached out to Nectar to take advantage of our warranty. Sent the pics with measuring tape to show the dip in my mattress. Warranty is invalid if mattress has any soil stains. I have a now 3 year old and he had a couple accidents on the bed, usually on my wife's side. We always had a mattress protector but some accidents have gone through. The soil stains are not very close to the dip area. However if there is any soil staining anywhere on the mattress, there is nothing Nectar will do for me. So my recommendation for a foam type mattress's like this is to either go with a spring mattress, or get a cheap one from linenspa or other company where you pay 1/3 of the price. That way in 4-5 years when your ready for a new one, you just buy a new one. I thought it would be worth spending the extra money for Nectars lifetime warranty but IT IS NOT WORTH IT. My kids have linenspa mattress's and their mattress has no issues and I sometimes sleep on it and its very comfortable.
Not medium plush. It's firm with a memory foam top
I have another Nectar bed but a higher level model. This bed does not even compare. I suppose for the sale price of $600 for a king it is fine but it is definitely not a medium plush like it says on the box. It is in fact a firm foam bed with a memory foam layer on top. I'm hoping it'll soften up after breaking in but I'm disappointed at the moment. I called Nectar directly before purchasing to compare their box store beds but they were zero help and said to talk to the store (Sams).
Fiberglass lawsuit!
This company puts fiberglass in their mattresses that pokes through the mattress cover and causes health issues! They have pending litigation that can be found online. They are at least relatively easy to get your money back from. We had to take our months old mattress to the landfill to get a refund from them! Do not buy!
Not what I expected!
I'm a side sleeper and a warm sleeper this mattress is not good for either in my case I'm 6'4" and 265lbs the mattress isn't what I expected from all the reviews I had read I've given it ample time for a break in period I messaged nectar to ask if the mattress was the same as what they sell online they told me no it doesn't have the same layers in it so there again you get what you pay for wish I had payed the extra from the online store.
Horrible Mattress - Like sleeping on a cement slab
This Nectar mattress is advertised as Medium-Plush. It's more like a Firm. It was like sleeping on a cement slab. I took it back to the store for a refund the very next day after it was purchased. It is by far one of the worst mattress I have ever slept on. It left me with pain at several points on my body from the pressure. I would not recommend this bed for any reason. I ended up purchasing the Members Mark 12-inch memory foam mattress for $100 less and it is wonderful to sleep on. Do yourself a favor and get that mattress instead of this one.
Bad Mattress
This mattress was good for the first two years. However after that the supportive layers began to deform and cause a lot of back pain. I'm 6 ft 210 lbs. I called nectar for a replacement. They required photo proof of the sag but it was not a 2” difference because the top layer of foam was still intact. Will not purchase another nectar mattress.
Don't recommend
I bought this bed 12/1/25 as a king and it's been horrible. No plush at all. It's made my back and neck hurt so bad and I can hardly walk because I'm so stiff. Don't recommend unless you want a really hard mattress. I tried to get a refund when I talk to customer service over the phone they said I could just go in and get a refund without the mattress. I went to the store and they said I had to bring the mattress. This wouldn't be an issue; however I drive a small suv and can't fit a king size mattress in it. So I never got a refund and they wouldn't even change the mattress
Mattress cover is defective. Service not helpful.
I purchased a king mattress at Sam's club on 12/15/25 and set it up yesterday. We noticed several issues with the cover. It is stretched out of shape and has 3 spots where there are snags and one spot where there is a hole. I thought that letting it expand might fix the stretched problem, but it has not. I was told by Nectar that there was nothing they could do. In fact, they recommended going back to Sam's Club to see if they could rectify it. Sam's said I needed to return the mattress, and they could sell me another one. The problem is that the mattress is big and would be difficult to return. Sam's club recommended returning the mattress, which will be difficult because the mattress has already expanded and will not fit into the box. Plan A, the Nectar recommended plan, is that I return the entire mattress because the $20 mattress cover is defective. I assume the mattress will ultimately be shipped back to Nectar which will cost time, inconvenience, significant shipping charges, and the mattress will likely be disposed of costing the company hundreds of dollars. Or plan B (my plan): send the customer a new mattress cover, which would cost Nectar $20 and satisfy the customer who does not want to hassle with taking a fully expanded mattress back to the store. The fact that Nectar can't send a mattress cover separate from a mattress is unbelievable. Nectar confirmed that Option B was not possible because they do not sell/ship mattress covers separate from mattresses. In summary, Nectar would rather spend hundreds of dollars, time and inconvenience to have an entire mattress returned rather than ship a $20 mattress cover to keep a customer happy. This is insane and very disappointing. I have pictures to upload but the website is giving me error when uploading.
DON'T BUY ONE!!
I bought a King size and it did not expand correctly, contacted them and they sent another one, don't waste you money the second one they sent was defective too. I asked for a refund and was told I had to dispose of the defective ones and send them proof. I contacted several places and they wanted to charge me to dispose of them.
Great mattress!
This is an amazing mattress! We have one already from nectar we got a year ago and wanted another one and saw it was cheaper here! This mattress is actually different than what's on nectar mattress and a bit firmer which is actually a good surprise as I much prefer the Sam's club one over the one on nectar website! Overall love the mattress!
