Since I've received my Air Frier, I've cooked in it every night. I've owned at least 5 air friers and believe this Emeril Lagasse Air Frier is the best ever. I can cook 3 things at once or one thing. It is taller than my other air friers and fits perfectly on my countertop. The first time I cooked French fries, we couldn't believe how crispy they were yet soft on the inside. This air fryer is the absolute best fryer I've ever had. I would highly recommend this air frier and the price is right.

Pros: not as large as dimensions on website. Double doors are easier to get food out with. Heating elements in the top and bottom make for really even and quick cooking. Easy to clean. Easy to use. Recipe guide is fairly accurate. Cons: Bad smell at first that requires a good burn off (READ INSTRUCTIONS BELOW). Doors are VERY high tension and must be fully opened or they will slam back shut. Kind of light and cheap feeling. Really loud alarm. MUST be cleaned after each use. If it starts to cool and you start it again it will smoke a lot and look like its on fire. That's the grease reheating back up. To take greasy food out on the wire rack you need to move the rack then the drip tray in an alternating pattern or at the same time to prevent drips outside the machine. Its annoying but better than grease drips. Here are my steps BEFORE using the air fryer. Clean all accessories in warm soapy water and the outside of glue from the shipping tape. Gently wipe down the inside surfaces with just a wet rag that you are willing to throw away. Here is the key part. You need to wipe the heating elements as well they have a protectant oil on them. One coil at the top and 2 bars at the bottom. BECAREFUL OF THE METAL FAN BLADES AT THE TOP they are sharp. Throw your rag away, you don't want that in with your other rags or washer. This will really help reduce chemical smell during burn off. BURN OFF STEPS: turn on a kitchen vent if you have one and open nearby windows, this helps if you are sensitive to smells. Make sure there are no accessories in the air fryer, they dont need burn off. Start at 200 for 10 minutes. after 5 minutes you will hear the "flip food reminder" chime. Up the temp 50 more degrees then reset for 10 minutes. Repeat this until you are at 450 the max normal temp. Leave there for 15 minutes. Once complete open the doors and allow to cool fully. You are good to go from there. Otherwise I really recommend this over the non stick basket styles.

I also bought this air fryer at Sam's Club and have to take it back because, guess what, no grill plate or grill handle. Just a heads up for anyone that was as disappointed as I was! Kohl's has the whole entire package for $4.61 more than I paid at Sam's and you get back $ 20 Kohl's Cash! And here's the set back, you have to download the Kohl's app, no biggie right? The sale price is $169, but $144 if you download the app!!! I'm so excited to try this out, I'm gonna try baking my Thanksgiving pies in it and baking my turkey breast in it also. If all else fails we can always go to Applebee's!!!

Bought for my 80 year old Mom in March to replace a basket type AirFryer. It’s a bit large for the area but she’s loving it and doesn’t want to change to smaller. She’s used it to make jalepeno poppers, rib eye steaks, used the Rotisserie twice… she hasn’t ventured to use for veggies yet. She thinks it’s the best thing

I just received my item today and I recently purchased this item last week for my mom and I decided to purchase me one. Today when I received mines no grill plate or grill plate handle included. Next, I call about the grill plate handle. I was informed if the grill plate has an asterisk next to it in the parts and accessory of the booklet you do not get that item. Ok, but the grill handle doesn’t have an asterisk next to it so why didn’t I I get however, the grill plate handle does not have an Asterix next to it so why didn’t I receive it. Very misleading.

This air fryer is so tiny. Went to the store on other shopping business and decided to check it out because of the eMails Sam's Club was pushing out on this. It's almost like an Easy Bake oven, like a toy intended for kids, size. Would not recommend this.

I truly love my air fryer. This is the first time I’ve own one, and it is wonderful. The people giving this product a one star review are complaining about not getting a grill plate. But in the manual, they show a grill plate with an asterisk, which you can purchase for $25. These machines are normally $350, but on sale for $180. So don’t let those bitter people who are complaining that no grill plate came with the machine deter you from buying it. I’m a very tough critic, and I have not found any downfalls with this fryer at all. I give this product five stars.

$139 would be a great price if the product was represented properly. You are missing the Grill tray and Arm. I did call the company before I bought it and they verified that to get the parts would be $45.00 I actually found out about this though the reviews ( thank you) I took it anyway because retail it's a $300.00 unit. I wanted to see if I can get the parts cheaper. You can't. I did find the same unit on another sight ( on sale for $169 )everything included so I ordered that and will be returning this. I will be only saving $10.00 buying the unit from the other sight ( with everything included) but it's the idea of feeling the product was mis represented. So it was a feeling issue with me. To be honest this deal is not bad because even if you upgrade you still pay $100 less than full retail, but who wants to go though the hassel. I would also have to trust a company that is not a major retailor so I'm happy with what I did. Before writing this review I did re look at the ad on this sight and the picture of the Grill Tray is not there. So technically it's not mis represented ( I guess) So as a new customer ( if I didn't read the review) I would not have known the difference until I opened up the instruction manual. Thanks to the reviews I didn't open the box yet so the return will be easier on me and Sams Club. Bottom line it's not a terrible deal because at full retail it does cost $300.00. To upgrade the unit it will cost you $184.00 Sams does have a wonderful return policy and you are safe with them. It is a known thing on certain items with the Walmart Company ( especially) electronics manufactures cut cost to make the same item special for Wal-Mart. I did not know that applied to Sam's. Don't worry Sam;s I still love you. This same thing happened at Walmart last week I saw a shark Hydro vac for $125. When i opened it I realised it didn't have replacement parts In. If I bought the unit on my other website it was over $200. So I ordered the parts and i only came out to be $20.00 So now i'm into $150.00 thats a deal ok mine doesn't have led lights but in that instance I got a great deal so it works both ways. .

So easy to clean. Just wipe down with a wet towel after it cools and it's ready to go again. I still have my "beehive" air fryer, but it does not get as much use as my new air fryer. It was just a wee bit too small. This air fryer is so much bigger and easier to use. Actually, I 've been using the baking sheet as a drip pan. It holds more drips than the real drip pan. Still disappointed with the advertising on the package and the description and in the owner's manual. No grill plate. 😒 I kept looking to see if I had discarded it. I want the grill plate more than I want the rotisserie feature. I feel like I was tricked. Especially for $180! I feel like the grill plate should have been included for that price. This air fryer really deserves a 5-star rating, but I am so disappointed, I took points away.
