I've suffered back pain due to bad mattress and pillow. The firm Tempur pedic mattress is the only mattress that helped ease the pain and offered a good night sleep. My other half loves it just as must as I do. I love the fact that is contour to my every move without that sinking feeling from most foam mattress. It's pricey but we'll worth the money.

Purchased the ProAdapt Firm king mattress ~1.5 years ago and is already in need of replacement, not comfy, indentations where we both lay, overall dissatisfied especially considering the price point. I should mention we also purchased the corresponding foundation, so the mattress is properly supported. Missed the window to return unfortunately, and instead was talked into a bed topper which did not help the situation either. The only positive is the "motion cancellation" I can't feel my spouse tossing and turning. We loved our 1st Tempur-Pedic, sorry to say we cannot say the same for the ProAdapt Firm.

On this mattress, if my muscles are tired form working out, I seem to be able to relax more and float off into sleep with out feeling any contact with the bed itself! In 2 years I've gone through 4 beds. Tempurpedic is my 5th and last. It was a daunting journey after having a bed for 23yrs and it was time for a new one. The problem was trying to adapt to all the new memory foam beds after being on a traditional bed. All I can say is stick with it for at least 2 months. Your body will eventually adapt. With my first foam bed 2 years ago it took me 6 months to adapt. Then I traded it in for a different foam bed due to a defect and that bed caused a major hip injury to flare up. Now 2 beds later I have the Temperpedic and I wish it was my first foam bed. Have to say Temperpedic's foam is completely different than any other I have slept on in the last 2 years. It took me about 4 weeks to adapt and I just stuck with it and now I can't wait to crawl into bed! It's a feeling I can't describe it's just different and my hip is finally happy. My husband also loves it!! I wont go back to any other bed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my TEMPUR-ProAdapt Medium Hybrid King Mattress for about two weeks now. I also got the Ergo Extend Adjustable Bass. I am very satisfied with my purchase. I finally get a good nights sleep. I also suffer from acid reflux and often wake up during the middle of the night with it. That hasn't happened since I got my new bed. Having the adjustable base has really made a difference. I was worried that the mattress would sleep warm due to the foam, but that hasn't been an issue. The only negative thing I'd have to say is in regards to the base. Not a big issue but the included USB Ports are located underneath the base and aren't super easy to get to. I've seen other bases where they are on the side and that would make more sense to me. Overall I'm very happy. Yes the bed/base is expensive but in my opinion well worth the money. I'm wishing I would have bought it sooner!

I have slept on a mattress for about six years that I have completely hated. So when choosing this mattress I wanted to be careful. It is always hard in a show room to know if a mattress will be comfortable all night, every night. I am still trying to figure correct adjustments and that could be why. I do like that we have the option to trade if we are not satisfied. We chose the medium because I was having problems with our last mattress causing pain because it was too firm. Maybe we will end up trding to the soft.

So far I am still trying to get used to the mattress. It's not good or bad, just totally different from anything I've slept on. The associate at the store said to give it 30 days to get used to and I always thought you either like something or you don't but I'm trying to be patient, we're about 3 weeks in. My husband is adjusting much easier than I am.

I agree with so many reviewers....I used to be up and down all night with hip, leg and back pain. Now, I find the mattress supports my whole body and it almost magically has made my pain go away. Not only am I sleeping all night pain free but I also wake up pain free for the next day. I am overweight and found that other mattresses just didn't support like this one. Extra expense, yes......but you absolutely get what you pay for in this mattress!! We were told we had 30 days to decide if we liked it and my husband and I both agreed after just three nights that no one was taking this mattress from us. Love, love, love it!!!!

I've been using tempur pedic for over 7 years now we loved it! and after replacing my old one since I can't find the receipt to get it replaced, so I'm stuck on just buying a new one,(who keeps their receipts for more than 5 years anyway ^_^) i had high hopes but I'm disappointed on this new pro adapt. Back pain has been consistent so far on any posture I try. Can't return it without paying restocking fees. So disappointing.

I am in love with my mattress. It only took one night to get used to it and now I enjoy going to bed again. We had a tempur-pedic mattress for 20 years and it finally began to break down. We purchased another brand because tempur-pedics are so expensive. It was like a nightmare. I began to hate going to bed. We only kept it for under 6 months. Now we are truly sure that tempur-pedic is the mattress for us.
