Handy Enough But HARD to clean

I've had mine for about 2yrs -- maybe 3, so it has a long life. But my main issue with it is that it is hard to clean. If I was blending something like celery, or any really fiberous or stringy vegetable or adding some kind or green powder to my smoothie, it was always really hard to clean the particles out of the grooves of the rim of the cup that screw into the blending lid or the to go lid, as well as the grooves in the to-go lid and gray part that housed the blending blades. It's hard to find anything short of a toothbrush --- and it would have to be a very stiff-bristled brush at that, to dislodge the food residue. And as I said, if the veggies/fruit were green, the gunk in the grooves was VERY apparent. No matter how well I cleaned or rinsed the parts out, I always felt that it wasn't clean enough and feared bacteria was growing in the grooves of the cup and the lip, so I added just a TAD of bleach to the water, and that didn't help as far as helping with the stains. Plus, after awhile, the sides of the cup started looking scratched as if I'd used a brillow pad to clean the inside of it, though I'd only ever used a sponge or washcloth. Now the entire cup looks dirty, even when it's clean. The area where the blades attach to the bottom of the gray plastic they're lodged in --- I can't tell if it's rust or just the accumulation of food residue that I could never completely wash off. Something needs to be altered with the design of the cup and lids so that food doesn't get stuck in the grooves so that bacteria can't grow in them. Also, more times than I can count, the lid would loosen while I was blending, even though I double-checked to make sure it was on tight before I turned the machine on, and liquid would leak out of the cup while I was doing something else as it was blending, and when I came back and turned off the machine and took the cup out of the housing base, there would be liquid that had seeped all down the holes at the bottom, and into the mechanism within the base and leak out the bottom. I'm surprised it's still running after all the times this has happened and has not caught on fire. So I give this an average rating for functionality --- in theory --- but the design desires something to be desired in terms of ease of cleaning and sanitary function.

Not great with frozen fruit

I generally make smoothies using fresh spinach/kale, diced frozen mango, frozen blueberries, coconut water, almond milk and Udo's oil. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to have the power to simply blend the items. I am having to repeatedly take the Nutribullet off the motor, shake it, and then put it back - not overly efficient or effective

900 Series

Simply put: I love my NutriBullet!! I have recently shifted to a Vegan (well almost) diet, and the Bullet has made the transition so easy, and delicious! As a batchelor, I love the simplicity of creating my meal, and devouring my meal in the same vessel. The preparation and clean-up is so efficient. Simple elegant design, and so nutritious, rendering my ingredients to a condition of ready absorption by the body. Well done NutriBullet!! A fan for life, David

Good but there are issues

I bought this upgraded model thinking that it would be better constructed than the regular Nutribullet. It seems that when I attach the blade and put it in the base it can leak and sometimes it's very hard to reopen after I blend my shake. I wish that was rectified. Otherwise, I love it!!

Great for smoothies

I used the regular Nutribullet model daily and upgraded since I needed more power to completely blend all of my ingredients. This Pro model definitely has more power and it no longer has the annoying chunks. Just a smooth, sweet smoothie! Very happy with it!

A delicious adventure awaits.

I bought this a month ago and it provides me access to versatile vegetable fruit juice drinks in less than 2 minutes. I am on an adventure to make the most nutritious and tasty drink. I have tried lots of combinations but my Kale clementine ginger and orange juice with turmeric rocks. My chocolate natural peanut butter milkshake breaks the rules but my sweet tooth approves. I am not afraid to try the suggested recopies found on sight. Check them out .

Horrible, it leaks

This is the worst product I have ever purchased. Unfortunately, I got replaced my magicbullet with this 900w model. Big mistake. Since day 1 my smoothie leaks out every time I blend and I always have to wipe the sides and bottom of the blender. It’s so frustrating I am probably going to end up tossing this and going back to the magicbullet. What a total waste of money.

Great product

We have used this bullet every day for the last four months. Breakfast is fruit with an English muffin toasted. We feel better after 6 or 7 fruits in the bullet and don't need lunch...just dinner at 3 p.m. and have lots of energy. Love the bullet.

Good but.......

I like it for mixing protein drinks and adding stuff to the drink. But, the bumpers inside the bottom unit that the blade unit rests on keep falling off. I've lost one. There's no way to call customer service to get a replacement part. I sure am not going going to buy a new one for the sake of a 10 cent part.

It leaks!

I purchased my Bullet about a month ago and I like the 900 watts for almonds and kale for my morning shake...problem is there is no washer between the blades and cup and it constantly comes loose and starts leaking everywhere. Simple fix is to provide a washer.
