Perfect for our needs!

My husband and I usually make 2 health shakes a day. It's fast with easy clean up and love the convenience of drinking directly from the blending jar. We have previously purchased the smaller unit and found the motor burned out too easily. This one seems to handle a fair number of ingredients with straining. Much happier with this size

What happened??

My guess is that I have had the advanced NutriBullet for about 4 months, maybe five. At first it was a blessing to have, particularly in summer. But over the last month, the unit will not start up when the cup is placed on it. The cup cannot descend so that it can then be turned to run on its own. I now have to press with my whole weight to get the bullet to start. And when I turn the cup so that it will stop, the unit keeps right on running. In fact, to get it to stop I have to lift the cup . . . not a good move but it is all that I have. A very disappointing purchase.

Disappointed

I purchased this 2 months ago and the results I am getting is not as demonstrated. Specifically, I routinely have to STRAIN my drink to remove a fair amount of pulp. Additionally, the motor is not as fast as it first was on day one. I REGRET the purchase. Unscrewing the blade assembly is more difficult for me as I put it on tightly to avoid another incident when my drink glass came loose and overflowed out of the unit and all over my counter top. I'd REALLY like to return it but I did not keep the box.

Makes Nutritious Eating Easy

Nutribullet Pro makes it easy to make nutritious smoothies every day. Just put your ingredients in the cup and about 10 seconds later your smoothie is done. It is powerful enough to blend a whole piece of ginger root and frozen pieces of fruit. The included recipe book is helpful as a starting point, but you can easily develop your own recipes.

Best single serving, minimal clean up,

I've had a Nutribullet for years, and just upgraded to the higher horse power, as the demands on the lesser one was burning it out. I purchased a VitaMix initially, but it is more like a blender, large volume, harder clean up. With the Nutribullet you blend-and-go. The accessories are useful and not superfluous. Enjoy in health!

Does what it claims to do.

Have been using my Nutribullet about 3 months now and have been very satisfied. I have often recommended it to my friends. It handles ice and frozen fruits and veggies with ease. I find the general guidelines for mixing greens with fruits and nuts very useful. Our family uses it everyday.

I LOVE IT!

I puchased my back in July of 2014 and I have talked this product up to everyone I meet. It is so easy to use. Easy to clean. I love how I feel when I drink my bullets. I went away for a weekend and didnt take it with me and I was lost. That won't happen again. I plan on travling with mine from now on. I also plan on purchasing one for my sister this year for the holidays.

Love it, so far!

I've had it about three weeks, and can feel the changes in myself. I live in Florida, and buy fresh produce at farmers markets every week. I bag up a kale/spinach/chard mix I get from Sams Club into eight individual ziplock bags. It varies according to what looks good at the farmers market from week to week, but I'll rough cut a couple carrots, a couple sticks of celery, a couple green onions (with the green), a seeded jalapeno or two, and a quarter bunch of cilantro, and put them into eight individual ziplocks. The kale/spinach/chard mix is kinda bitter, but the celery, onion, jalapeno and cilantro mask it and gives it a nice, sweet tex-mex kinda thing. I like it pretty well, so am always glad to have one. My goal is to make it as easy to eat healthy as it is to eat junk. I'll make up two in the evening as I'm washing dishes. I'll add a bag of greens, a bag of veggies and spring water and whizz it up, screw on a lid and put it in the fridge. The next morning, I'll take it out of the fridge, add a couple tablespoons of add-ins (like the Superboost and some flaxseed), whizz it up and drink it after I get back in the house from walking my dog around the block. I have some popsicles in the fridge made from bananas, a handful of berries and a little plain greek yogurt if I get the urge for something sweet. I've found that with my body getting nourishment from these whole raw foods, I don't crave junk and processed foods. Supper is usually a lean protein and a veggie and/or brown rice. I'm liking this new way of eating and feel it's something I can live with long term.

Pro vs regular

I like the original Nutribullet better than the Nutribullet Pro. My old one used to lock in to the base easily and stay there. The Nutribullet Pro takes some twisting and manuvering before it locks in and I have to hold it while it blends my smoothie. It doesn't ever lock in to the base so I can let go while it finishes the job. I honestly am wondering if it is a defect or that is the design and was seriouly wondering about calling the company to change them out. I would recommend the original Nutribullet but not the Nutribullet pro.

Makes Great Smoothies, but OK to Use

I love the smoothie consistency I get using the nutribullet, but it is very challenging to start. You have to push it down really hard to get it started. Sometimes we push it down and it doesn't go, so we have to move it around to try and get it started. Typically mine is full to the brim. Wishing they had slightly larger cups to use for blending. My normal blender was great for that, but didn't blend everything as well. There are pros and cons about it.
