I have always loved the downy fragrances but the liquid fabric softeners tend to build up on my clothes over a period of time making them look dull/dingy quicker. Plus the fragrance faded sooner than I like. After trying the beads I am happy that the fragrance is longer lasting. Time will tell about the residue. Today was my first time using this and I must say I love it! Because I'm on a budget I always found these types of product unnecessary but now that I've used it I'll be purchasing them more! My laundry came out fresh and even my entire laundry room smelled good :) Check these out if you haven't already! I received a few samples of these to test out and I'm really glad I did because I probably would've never tried them on my own!!!!

I like to use these when I wash my bedding because it makes it smell so good and makes it soft. The scent last a pretty good while. You don't need to add much to your clothes to make them smell good. They aren't horribly priced and you can get them at just about any grocery store.

Clothes with the nice fragrance.. everyone loves that.. this product does the same. Fresh fragrance which makes you feel good when you wear your washed clothes. I got this product for testing for free but for sure will buy it again and recommend to family and friends too. Reviews are only mine after using the product.

My family loves the Downy Fresh Protect beads! We have two little ones in daycare and one potty training; which means we usually have some sweaty, stinky, soiled clothes and blankets. Even after washing them, some smells linger. With the Downy beads all of our clothes, blankets, and towels come out smelling fresh and oh so good; and they stay that way until we use them! This product smells so good. I have used it on my towels twice now and our towels still smell fresh! I'm scared to try it on my clothes because I have sensitive skin and don't want a reaction. I belong to several couponing groups. I would see everyone get so excited when new coupons would come out for these Downy beads. I would give mine away thinking I am not wasting my money on something like this. Not any more, I loved them. They smell so great and continues to smell that way all day long.
