I don't usually buy products like this, but I received these beads as a complimentary sample to try out. First of all, they smell great! As soon as I opened the package, I could smell the fresh, clean scent of the beads. I used them in my load of bed sheets because a nice smelling bed is always great to climb into. These did not dissapoint. After pulling them out of the dryer, they smelled great and the scent lasted for several days of sleeping. I had a few mor sample packets, so I washed all the sheets in my house with the beads. My family is enjoying their sheets!

My family has used Downy products for years, so when I received samples of the In-Wash Odor Shield, I wasn't very hesitant to try it. I was a little overwhelmed with how much was in the packet & how the directions said to use the whole thing with a load of laundry, so I made sure I had a seriously FULL load (shirts/socks/underwear/sweats, towels, bed sheets/pillowcases - anything that could carry a smell after use). I was impressed! Since my job requires a lot of moving around & comes with a lot of messes, I was glad this product took away ever odor & left a (rather potent) fragrance. Maybe it's just me & the fact that the scent wasn't my favorite, but it was a little strong for my liking, so based on that, I would suggest using less than the directions advise. Still, it was just the boost my laundry needed. Overall, it's a good buy. Do I think it's necessary? Not really, but I could see myself buying this every once in a while.

I really liked how the scent really stayed in my clothes and sheets. The sheets still smell great and washed them over a week ago. I also like how the little beads (they look like pink lentils) look and sound when you pour them into the washer, I know that's add but I just thought it was fun. Seriously, I'm about to tear up thinking about how much Odor Shield has changed my life. I always had such a problem with body odor. But this product has completely changed that. I now can do any sweaty, dirty activity I want, but I smell fantastic afterward because of Odor Shield. Nothing else worked for me until this product came along. I tell EVERYONE about it LOL. I suppose some people think I'm crazy, but when a product changes your life like this one did for me, you just can't keep quiet about it! I'm obsessed with stuff that smells good. As a result, I'm kind of obsessed with Downy Beads. My clothes and linens smelled just as good coming out of the wash as the beads did when I put them into the wash! I combined this product with Downy Dryer sheets, and I honestly just can't get enough. I love crawling into my bed and my sheets still smelling like I just pulled them out of the wash. The scent actually lasts! I just wish that there were more scents to chose from.

I really enjoyed using this, my clothes are more fresher because of this. I love the smell, that it gets my clothes cleaner. I love that it doesn't mess with the color of my clothes, or destroy them in anyway. The freshness last really long, and that is a plus for me. I love the Downy beads! They really keep clothes and sheets smelling good for a good period of time! I have tried many different fragrances and I like them all! I highly reccommend this product!! I always sprinkle a few because they go far and put extra in for sherts and blankets! Who doesnt like to snuggle up in a good smelling blanket!
