I have a friend who smokes, and they stink to me. I had a chance to do some laundry for them, so I used these beads in the wash. The next time I saw them, the ashtray odor was almost completely gone, and they smelt really good. I've been using downy for years and was intrigued when I saw this new product. It met or exceeded every expectation I had and made my laundry smell like the great downy scent I already love. I was able to test the Downy Fresh Protect for free, but all opinions are my own.

I love the smell of fresh laundry coming out of the dryer. The beads are ready and easy to use just follow the instructions. If you are sensitive to smells I wouldn't recommend this product, but the smell is not overbearing. I did receive this product complimentary for testing purposes, but these are my opinions on this product.

Cool concept. It was easy to use. The scent is slightly stronger than I'd normally like, but lovely all the same. If you want clothes that smell amazing all day, then these are definitely for you! The scent is so amazing and delicate, not at all over powering. I noticed a kept getting whiffs of the scent all day. Especially when I was moving or active. Using them couldn't be easier, you simply dump them into the washer and do everything else as normal. A great, easy product that will keep your clothes smelling pleasant all day!

this product smelled amazing right from opening the box! I used this product in my "smelly" laundry load (exercise and running clothing items). I usually use a scented laundry detergent to try to get the smell out but there is always residual smell. I was so happy to test this product and find that basically all of the bad smell in my laundry was gone! It works really well and I am more willing to use this because you put it in the wash at the beginning instead of having to wait until the rinse cycle comes on which is what I would have to do if I was to use fabric softener.
