I got to try Downy Fresh Protect for free, but all opinions are my own. I loved the smell of this product. It was fantastic to use with my dogs bedding, my husband's underwear, and even just my clothes for a nice fresh pick me up! I would highly recommend. My only issue is that it doesn't replace the detergent so it's another product to purchase and cleaning products are not cheap!

This is a nice product, in theory. I expected it to make my clothes smell super great (because the beads smell AMAZING!), but once the clothes dried there wasn't even a HINT of the fragrance (I have the "April Fresh" scent). The smell was powerful coming out of the washing machine, but even the clothes that I air dried did not retain the smell. A bit disappointing, to say the least. I received this product free in exchange for my opinion.

I love these Downy pouches with Febreeze. My clothes came out smelling great and it lasted until I wore them (1-2 weeks after wash)! They dissolve by themselves as long as you put them in when you turn on the water in your washing machine. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is that I like using natural products, and this isn't. These are in addition to your regular detergent and softener. Although these beads smell fantastic, I don't really feel they're a laundry necessity if you're already using a Downy softener. I keep mine in a drawer, in a baggie with pinholes - it acts as a sachet and keeps my clothes fresh smelling. *I received this product for free, but all opinions are my own.

I was slightly hesitant to try this because I was concerned it may leave a strange residue on my clothes. The first time I tried it I used have the recommended amount, which left a nice smell on my clothes but no residue. I decided to be brave and use the actual amount and wow am I amazed at the scent. All of my clothes smell so fresh and they don't feel any different. This was sent to me for review but I will definitely be purchasing.

So when you hear a commercial mention a long-lasting scent, Downy Fresh Protect is exactly what I imagined. It has the most amazing smell, and it lasts for so long. Tested the Downy Fresh protect beads for free and I'm hooked. Washed my teenage son's comforter and not only did it the great scent last all week...but his room all together smelled fresh and clean. Will be purchasing these from now on because it's great for bedding and towels. Will certainly be making my purchase on a regular basis

Okay, this stuff is amazing! Hope this isn't TMI, but I used these on my down comforter and it was great! My boyfriend and I often wake up sweaty in the morning, and our comforter was starting to smell like it. Also, our cat peed on our bed about a year ago but the residual scent stuck in the matress had grossly made the comforter smell some too. We washed it with these beads and it became SO much better! Ultra fresh! These would be perfect for loads of gym or sports laundry, heavily soiled laundry, stuff that's people or pets have gotten sick on or had accidents on...it really knocks out stinky odors completely! Really happy with this. I got some complimentary to try but all my opinions are my own!
