Caution: Not for Arctic Wind Chill Temperatures

I was leery about purchasing a ski jacket for less than $40. I received the jacket on December 9. With a 15 degree temperature and a wind chill below zero on December 23, I decided to give it a try. I put on the jacket to retrieve my mail a few feet from my home before chancing it on the mountain next month. The wind blew right threw it and I felt my body getting cold. For comparison, I then tried on my 20 year old down ski jacket. The old jacket did its job. The new jacket did not.

It's also water and wind resistant to keep snow and water out! Some consumer may choose to wear this item for those blistering cold winter temperatures. Since everyone has a different tolerance andcomfort level, depending on temperature, we don’t feel that a temperature rating or ranking of our products can realistically instruct you on how warm or cool a jacket is for your taste. Great quality and even better price

Bought this for my 18 yr old son as he needed a new jacket this year. I am huge L.L. Bean fan because I have never been disappointed and the products are always of good quality- but all jokes aside, this economy has most of us in a choke hold right now. I decided to look at Sam's to see what they had and I am so glad I did. This is a very good quality jacket, has a lot of great features %26 add on's, will most def keep you warm, and the price is absolutely amazing. I will look at Sam's first next time before I go to the other big brands.

Low price gets you poor quality

I was so excited for this jacket! Arrived quickly and was perfect! Comfy, warm, great fit… BUT, zipper completely broke off after the second time wearing it. Pretty bummed about the poor quality and will stick with higher quality, name brands from now on.
