I bought this shelf unit at my local club today after some research. It is not yet assembled, but I have unpacked and inspected every part and it is very well made. First, I looked at the pdf file and saw that it is made by Seville. Their products are not USA made but the design and engineering are first class, in my opinion. (I have both versions of their 72 inch rolling work benches and three of their 24 x 28 cabinets - all bought at Sam's) To answer some of the questions posted in the questions and answer section, the box, as picked up at the club, is marked 89.7 pounds and measures 48 inches x 18¾ inches x 9¾ inches. I'm also a member at the competing club in my city and they offer similar unit with similar specs. I looked at the competitor's offering first and their shelves had the zig-zag wire trusses on both sides of the shelves and three rods welded to the cross rods of the shelves to prevent separation. I went to Sam's and their unit's shelves had the same edge trusses plus a third truss in the center with rods welded to the cross wires between the center truss and the edges on each side. The purchase was an easy decision.

I’ve ordered 3 of these shelving units, all were shipped. First order of 1 arrived within 3 days, second order of 2, took much longer (over a week) which was frustrating but overall worth the wait. I plan to order more of these, they hold a lot, they’re very sturdy, the option of wheels is ideal, they’re pretty easy to assemble & when assembling, the shelf heights can be tailored to your needs, Even though the boxes came damaged & a couple of small loose pcs were missing, there were enough parts & extras in a sealed bag to make up for the difference. I was worried the shelves were bent but they’re very heavy & sturdy so they were fine. The first one is a little tricky to put together & they really requires 2 people but once you figure out the configuration you want, they go together easily.

I purchased this item in 2003 and love it so much that after moving to South Dakota this year, and having the moving company loose the shelves, I am attempting to find the manufacturer so i can purchase shelves and use it again. I felt the price may have been a bit high but the quality of the product makes up for it.

These shelves are made to assemble quickly and simply. Their heavy cartons are more than I can lift. Sam's employees load them into my car for me, and at home I drag them from the car and cut them open in the driveway and make three trips inside with their contents. The wheels allow me to push multiple shelves aginst one another so there doesn't have to be an aisle between them. Shelves can be pulled out one at a time to be examined.

This shelving is very high quality. It's a better buy than similar shelving bought elsewhere, and the wheels make it very versatile to use. Although the assembly is a bit awkward for the first shelf, it's not hard to do, and goes very easily with two people. I did my first two sets by myself. I now have six, and plan to get at least one more!

My husband & I purchased 10 shelving units as we needed to get organized especially since our house was undergoing repairs for two months now from ice dams on the roof! Since the we & the contractors have crammed 1200 sq ft of furniture, closet items, wall décor, etc. into four rooms and the unfinished basement we had to get organized. The shelving units are PERFECT helping us organize our basement and all of the items that have been brought downstairs. What we did was to take the two shelving units and put them together to make it look like three shelving units. After putting one shelf onto the poles w/wheels), so the same for the other shelving unit. THEN you take a self and put it on the two right end poles from the first shelving unit and the two left poles from the second unit CONNECTING the two shelving units together. It'll look like you have a three shelving unit system together. Just make sure that you have the locking wheels in the front of the four poles. The three connected shelving unit moves with ease on the wheels and my husband said that it was a brilliant ides of mine!

I bought this shelving system and it is great. I have my plants on it. Its great because you can move it out to clean under it or to clean the windows behind it. Its very sturdy and also a nice looking piece. I would recommend this item for any room or any use. Thinking about taking out the pantry shelves and putting in a couple of these instead.

1'st I've been buying these for years. They are strong and well priced. They are a bit fiddly to put together but I think anyone can do it. It takes me about 20 minutes to put one together. My problem is that I ordered 6 by mail. I thought at first that the delivery person just destroyed the boxes but now as I've put together 4 of them I find that most of them are used which is why the boxes are so beat up. I wouldn't be so ticked about this, people return things, but I'm missing parts, if you want to resell a product that's been returned as new then make sure everything is in the box. Now I get the joy of contacting the company and asking for parts instead of using my new shelves. These will rust if in a moist environment, I had it in a shed and those got grimy. Otherwise I like them enough that I keep buying them. The selves I'd rate as 4 stars but getting them used with missing parts put the review at 2 stars.

This shelf is definitely worth the price which is a little more than many others. The parts fit together perfectly and easily. It is very sturdy and the shelves can be set at any level you need. The shelf liners are handy for my use which is in my shed with tools and nuts and bolts and everything else you can accumulate maintaining a house and yard. They keep small things from slipping through.

with sams club free shipping on this shelf and the price point I couldnt resist ordering 4 of these. Its was cheaper than driving to my local club and hauling them home. There very ez to install it just takes a little patience. I installed all 4 units in under an hour with no problems. The fit and finish of this shelf unit is excellent , you cannot purchase anything close at this price and have the same quality . Im very pleased with my purchase and would recomend these to anyone looking for quality shelving.
