Should have read the details more closely. These do not have a tight fitting/spill proof lid and need the band to hold them closed. The band is not adjustable so you can't even close it tighter. Works for things that aren't spillable and as long as your kid doesn't like to swing their lunch bag around willy nilly.

My kids really like these bento boxes. They are definitely "kid-sized," although I suppose it would help an adult with portion control! I wish they were dishwasher-safe and there was a better seal on the containers. My son's pasta salad intermingled with his animal crackers on the top and that got pretty gross. Overall, they are super cute and my kids are excited about them, but I would probably go for a different design or a bigger one for myself.

The Bentgo Classic Lunch Box is perfect for my 8th grade daughter. She loves the pink color and that her food stays separate. The only down side is that the lids do not snap in place. You must use the included sealing strap, otherwise everything will spill.

I purchased this for my daughter who is in college and walks, bikes, hikes, all of the time. She saw her outdoor education students using these this past summer at camp and decided she needed one. I am going to get one for myself! A great way to get rid of so many containers in my bag.

Product is well constructed. Low stars because it doesn't create a true seal. The parts only rest upon each other and are loosely held by a strap. So, you can't put anything remotely wet (yogurt, apple sauce, dips) or small (seeds, nuts, cereal, goldfish) because it will fall out.

My husband is a big man 6'5 and 260 lbs and he loves this with salad on bottom and protein on top with maybe veggies also. Looks small, but it's mighty and deceivingly holds more food the. You think! Great for road trips if you wanna save money! We love bentgo

These containers are great! The are a good size, sturdy, lightweight and easy for our grade school aged children to use. Our 8 yr old has no problem with the band and uses this set easily. We use them in the Bentgo lunch bag. The kids love packing their lunches in all our Bentgo containers and the containers work! We are definitely fans! Have the salad set & bento boxes as well.

I'm very happy with the purchase overall. It's a bit smaller than I expected but has worked perfectly for my kids. The only complaint I have was shipping. I requested 2 business days and it took over 10 days to arrive. My suggestion for the company is to sell silicon molds used as dividers for kids lunches. I've been using my cupcake molds but something more unique to this design would be ideal.

This compact, thoughtfully designed lunch box holds a good amount of food but does not take up much space in my backpack or in the crowded work fridge. I like the way it lets me separate different foods, keeps utensils conveniently tucked away, and is versatile enough that I can use the full set or just one container.

Not good for kids. I missed the small print that these are not leak proof, but they also do not snap closed completely. First day of school was Monday for my kids and that morning, both kids lunches spilled all over the floor before leaving the house. I purchased with high hopes but these are definitely not great options for lunch that needs to be transported unfortunately.
