I absolutely love this cheese. It has a mild taste but still gives a good flavor to a sandwich or tortilla for a taco. 🌮 😋

La Vaquita is our favorite queso fresco brand. Happy to find Sam’s carrying it. Like the size. This cheese freezes well and thaws with no impact to the texture or flavor. I vacuum re-package some and freeze some in a zip loc freezer bag for shorter term freezer storage. I have not had any liquid separation after freezing with La Vaquita cheese as I have had with other basket cheeses.
