I am so excited about my new chef iq smart cooker. It was easy to set up and easy to use. It makes cooking so much more fun. I can finally ditch my out of date crockpot. I have the power to control my cool settlngs from anywhere on my phone. I am very happy and cant wait to explore more recepies.

I used to think that cooking in a pressure cooker would be dangerous, but Chef iQ is taking care of this issue also, it is really safe to cook as the lid doesn’t open until pressure is fully released. The capacity is a plus point as it is convenient to cook large batches at one time. Connectivity is hassle free, it readily connects with WiFi . The app has so many recipes with videos to cook any food without wasting time to think what to cook. You can even delay your cooking using the mobile app. This intelligent cooker has so many options to select from, like sauteing/searing, Slow cooking, pressure cooking, steam and more. You can add your favorite recipe in an option of favorites to instantly select and start cooking. I always like my meat to be tender and juicy and this cooker is just giving me the desired tenderness. Super easy to clean, it has self-sanitize option as well, the pot is dishwasher safe. Scale is another genius option which calculates how much water is needed to boil the pasta ,legumes and etc .I highly recommend this super convenient, time saver and multi-tasking appliance to all cooking lovers . I'm used to high tech gadgets, but this is probably the coolest one I've come across yet. In fact, I feel like simply calling it's not even fair for someone to label it as merely a pressure cooker - because it also sears, steams, and slow cooks. But what really blew me away is the CHEF iQ app integration and step by step guides. It's perfect for someone who is a beginner to pressure cooking, a beginner to cooking in general, so that you can cook just about anything without needing to look it up online. While I say that, I feel like even those that are pros in the kitchen would appreciate the luxury and convenience that the automation provides. You can absolutely go manual too and just go off your own settings and times if you already know exactly what you're doing. You want to cook potatoes? Ok, what kind? Sweet potatoes, you say? Whole or diced? How much does it weigh? You don't know... that's fine, throw it in the pot and we'll weigh it for you. Cool, that's 1 lb of diced sweet potatoes, here's the exact settings we recommend for specifically that, just hit start. What type of rice? Is that chuck roast cubed? How about a video recipe of us walking you through exactly what to do if the written prompts on the device aren't enough for you? The video recipes on the app sync with the appliance! This cooker literally puts other "smart" appliances to shame. If I had to come up with a "con", you'll probably need to spend about 30 mins of playing around with it to figure out everything you can do with it. But that process was honestly fun.

PLEASE HEAR ME OUT, IT'S WORTH YOUR TIME!! OK, So me and my husband really tried giving this product the benefit of the doubt, but how can you when you already have gotten through 3 in less than a year!? I really fell in love when I first got this product; a little story, we've been using an old Pressure Cooker that was passed on to us by an old neighbor we used to had at our older apartment. We were scared to use it at first, after so many people talking about horror experiences with it exploding and causing horrible traumas, no no no, I pray to families who have gone through this traumatic experience... but anyways, we just needed an upgrade, and when I saw this at our local Walmart, OOF!, I fell in love and immediately grabbed it. It was working for a few months, until randomly it stopped working, we got another one... not working either after 2 weeks of use. Called to report the issue with the company, so they send us a new one. We saw a new update for the second one we had that stopped working, we decided to give it a try and update the system within the pressure cooker [Me thinking in between the review cause I've got ADHD: ("oh and did I mentioned that this product has a computer inside of it connected to an app and the internet?? well it does, and when it is not going the way you planned, you're just gonna have to go with the flow honey"). END OF THOUGHT, PLEASE CONTINUE READING] Anyways, we updated the system hoping it would resolve the issue, and lo and behold IT DID!!! WOHOO!!!! Until it stopped working again the very second time we used it today, just now actually. At this point, since we already have both that stopped working, we don't even wanna open the new one, we really gave up on this one and got a better one from Insignia that's 10qt for $40 on Best Buy!!!! One of the best appliances to have in the kitchen, especially if you don't have much time to cook! I love that you can add all the ingredients before leaving the house and then turn the cooker on once youre on the way home so you come to the hot and ready food! It works great remotely and really gives great flavor to the food. It has a large capacity, so you can fit enough food for a family and it has many features, such as streaming, cooking, searing, boiling etc! Besides, has a great design so you can leave it on the counter without worrying that it will ruin the design of the kitchen. Worth every dollar spent!

Love this product. Helps any novice cook become better. The recipes in the app are 100% step by step with easy to follow video and written directions. Must have a smart phone to set-up. but after that, you can use the appliance or your phone to set. Using the weight scale to assist with cooking is a game changer - examples? When cooking rice, you weigh the rice and it tells you exactly how much water to add to get perfect results! It is pricey, bur well worth every penny!

The smart pressure cooker I bought today hasn't been working as it was intended and upon further research and observation I found that the product was manufactured poorly. There is a pin that is supposed to be depressed when the lid is turned to it's locked position. Come to find out the pin isn't depressed because the machine was assembled wrong. I paid almost 200 dollars for this and the machine isnt even built right. Great concept but poorly built. I will be returning this product to get my money back.
