Very disappointing

I'm a first time, single mother. I work part time and go to school full time, so when I go to the store I like to know the money I bust my butt for goes to a product that works the way it's supposed to. I don't have time to fiddle around with different brands and styles, so I put my trust in Pampers. I'd purchased a jumbo box of Pampers Baby Dry (size 1-2) for my 5 month old son. Man, 12 hours of dryness is a big promise to make, and unfortunately these diapers just couldn't keep it. Within 2 hours of his first change into Baby Dry we were both soaked (leaked through the diaper, his onesie, and jeans)! I figured that maybe they were on too loose and just went on with my day. I wasn't able to go 2 hours without him soaking through these diapers. LEAK CENTRAL!! They leaked out the sides and ESPECIALLY out the back. They also blew up and were soggy with even a tiny amount of liquid in them. We went from 7+ hours of sleep at night to less than an hour at a time before he'd soaked through the diapers, his sheets, and finally my sheets..EVERY NIGHT he was up every hour screaming. After about 4 days of this, I switched back to Swaddlers. **I should also note that since the diapers outside became soggy and the whole thing wasn't absorbent, they CONTINUED TO LEAK IN THE DIAPER PAIL!!! The bag had a huge puddle in the bottom when I took it out, and that also leaked day old "liquid waste" through my house. The diaper pail stank to high heavens and I had to wash it and soak it with bleach at 1:00 in the morning!!!!!!!!!!** The Swaddlers are much better for us- more absorbent, better fit, and they hold up much better than Baby Dry. Thankfully, the Baby Dry diapers didn't go to waste!! I just brought them into his daycare (they change him every 2 hours tops), so it wasn't a total waste of $$; he needed more diapers there anyway. So...If you LOVE constantly changing diapers and being leaked on, don't mind waking up every hour or so to a screaming wet baby, live to do laundry, and don't mind either 1) emptying a diaper pail every few changes or 2) running around your house with a leaking, smelly bag of diapers and dumping puddles out of the pail & soaking it with bleach overnight....then Baby Dry is the diaper for you!!

I'm sorry your recent purchase of Pampers Baby Dry was not absorbing. This is very unusual. The Pampers Swaddlers/Cruisers do fit and absorb better for some babies. We would like to get a few more details about your experience. Please call us with a diaper handy at: 1-800-726-7377.

Pampers Dry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I found out I was pregnant I did what most expecting parents do went out and bought all the newest, fancy, state f the art stuff! I decided nothing would be second hand and boy did I get a rude awakening! Babies make messes, they have accidents all day & night long. I use the Pampers wipes myself in everyday life! Pampers diapers undergo extensive testing but what is really important is keeping my son dry all night long.

Keeps Everything In

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The worst is waking up and realizing that your infant's diaper leaked all over her clothes and the sheets after a nice night of sleep. This diaper has not let me down yet. No matter how big and full it is, these diapers are the best at keeping everything in. I find that it holds even the biggest of messes inside.

Keeps Baby Dry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have always used Pampers for disposable diapers. When in the hospital they provided the swaddlers, and Peanut has grown we have moved to the Baby Dry line. I love that New Pampers Baby Dry is thinner. For Peanut they have helped keep dry and comfortable with the Extra Absorb Channels for overnight protection. I was provided with a free pack of Pampers New Baby Dry diapers

LOVE Pampers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With my first child I tried several brands of diapers but always went back to the pampers because no other diaper kept my son dry continuously. When we had our daughter I didn't even hesitate to buy pampers. Only diapers I use for my children and the only brand of diaper I buy for all my friends and family having babies!

Sleeping through the night

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love Pampers Baby Dry as they allow our little man to sleep through the night without being uncomfortable! They are very absorbent diapers that give full leak protection through the night. We love the Pampers scent but they do seem to run a touch smaller than Pampers Swaddlers.

Best Diaper Brand BY FAR

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pampers Baby Dry has always been my go-to brand when it comes to diapers. They are more reliable, have cuter styles, and just seem to keep my kids drier, LONGER. My youngest is almost old enough to start potty training, but for now I use the trustworthy Pampers Baby's Dry!

Stays Dry All Night

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My baby pees a lot at night and these are the only diapers that keep her dry until she wakes up in the morning. These are also really good for long car trips or times when I know it's going to be a while before I can change her. She has never gotten a rash with these and always seems comfortable in them. I highly recommend this diaper to anyone whose baby is sensitive to being wet, or who needs a diaper to keep their baby dry for a long period of time.

Best for Overnight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My three year old is now potty trained during the day, but still has accidents at night. This is a great diaper, most nights, to prevent leaks. She typically sleeps on her stomach and recently has been leaking from the front of the diaper. Even though we've been VERY happy with this diaper, it may be time to move onto nighttime diapers.

Baby Dry diapers are awful

I love most of the products offered by Pampers. The Swaddlers were great and the Cruisers are fantastic! We picked up the Baby Dry and they are awful. They do not fit well at all especially when wet. My son has more leaks when wearing these than he has in any other diaper. Unfortunately since we already opened them we could not return them so we are stuck using these horrible diapers until they run out. We will never make this mistake again.
