a torn tire crack due to aging rubber. Small cracks that grow in length, depth by manufacturing defect.

I HAVE BOUGHT THESE 4 TIRES ABOUT 3 YEARS. ONE OF FOUR TIRES FLAT/EXPLORE ON THE ROAD.
