Compared ingredients to our old sauce, and found them to be very close except our old sauce used dry ingredients and Head Country used fresh ingredients.

I've been using Head country for years It is the second best barbecue sauce I've ever ate my The best was at a barbecue restaurant that no longer exists so this is number one now. And I like being able to buy two at a time like this real handy

This has been my all time favorite sauce for a couple of years now. Sweet with a little heat. Goes well with anything. Beef, chicken, pork and yes even french fries and onion rings.

The sauce has the right amount of tang that we like in our sauce. Close to the one I make myself and great for quick meals when I don't have the time to make sauce from scratch.

way better from wf but different recipe as well tjis gets thick when you make sure to cook it down. never straight from the bottle but grilling it and everything will of course make it thicker.

Best BBQ sauce!

This is a quality sauce, but it is too sweet in my opinion. You can easily fix this. It's also not crave worthy as a dipping sauce IMO, but tastes great cooked on your meat. I'm a big fan of the Kansas City sauce that starts with "G". If you think it's too sweet try this: Pour 1/2 cup out (or more to taste) and add 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar, then add 1 tsp celery seed, 1/2 tsp cumin, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper. Shake it up and let it sit for a day. People say it's too thin, hogwash. If you're slathering it on ribs after a smoke, it's perfect. The last thing I want is a thick, gloppy sauce when finishing my ribs. For my taste, it works very well with the modifications.
