A little twist on the original. I’m not too sure if it’s a bit stronger in flavor seeing as I drank it a while in between tasting the original Jameson. I do remember it being smooth! I would recommend this as a classic Irish Whiskey to enlighten your palate.

This is very smooth, subtle and easy to drink. When you first open this there is hint of apple. While drinking it you get hints of chocolate, butterscotch and very faint hint of almond. It has a smoky all around flavor. One you sip the final note is coffee. It’s different but with the try.

All of my customers that already loved Jamesons original whiskey absolutely loved the oaky caskmates flavor. It was easy to sell poured over a large ice cube. It is definitely too delicious and flavorful to mix with anything. It would be a great addition to bring to a party.

Hello, long time drinker, first time official reviewer. I hate stouts. Well, used to (started liking Guinness after I visited Ireland, go figure). I drink a lot of IPAs. For some reason I'm not very partial to the IPA edition. I do however, have always LOVED the stout version. The 6 D's of this are Delicious, Delightful, Delectable, Daring, Divine, and Delicious.

This variety of Jameson is pretty good as well as the original. It has a unique, earthy flavor. Its not quite as smooth as the original, though, but I think thats the whole point. I would buy it again and would recommend it for whisky lovers everywhere.

Solid and unique take on the classic Jameson Irish whisky. If I remember correctly it is Smokey and smooth. Love the packaging cause it’s familiar yet new . I would buy again because I find that most people enjoy Jameson and there follow up flavors

Smooth tasting with the classic Jameson flavors . It met all of my expectations. I first sampled it in a liquor store and this brought me to purchase my own bottle I mixed with ice and ginger ale and it was perfect. My husband is now a fan as well.

I’m a huge Jameson fan, but I didn’t notice a huge difference between this and the original. Of course you have the smoothness of the original Jameson, but I couldn’t detect a difference in my mixed drink (I tried both side by side), so not worth the extra money in my opinion.

I prefer the stout to the ipa version. Both are great though! They are aged in beer barrels from Franciscan Well and you can definitely taste the way the beer has changed the whiskey. The stout version is a little more chocolately and full bodied. The ipa version has a nice citrus notes.

I actually got to sample this at the distillery in County Cork! Stouts are my favorite beer and to have it mixed with whiskey...I thought the angels were sampling their share! (P.S. would love a candle or room spray that smelled like the Angel's Share)
