One of my favorite whiskeys in my home bar. This is regularly stocked. It's all the goodness you'll find in the standard Jameson, but with the creaminess/milkiness of a stout beer with a hint of sweetness. Think of a sugar cookie. Don't worry though, not overly sweet, and nothing close to the flavored whiskeys. If you enjoy the standard Jameson and/or Irish whiskey, buy this!

I tried this in a whiskey flight with the IPA caskmates and regular Jameson the other day at a burger bar, and this one was definitely the winner for me! It's sweeter than the other two because of the stout barrel and so smooth. I like all of them, but this one is my favorite. If you drink whiskey straight, it's worth the extra couple bucks to upgrade from the original Jameson.

This is by far my go to glass of whiskey. I have tried all of the other Jameson flavors and this is by far the best. So smooth, complex flavor profiles….. it kills me to hear that it is being discontinued in the Upstate NY market….. I bought a case tonight from my local store just to be able to keep my taste buds happy for a while….. If anyone from Jameson actually reads these comments, please think twice before discontinuing this product.

A little twist on the original. I’m not too sure if it’s a bit stronger in flavor seeing as I drank it a while in between tasting the original Jameson. I do remember it being smooth! I would recommend this as a classic Irish Whiskey to enlighten your palate.

This is a crowd favorite out here. I've received this as a gift a few times and it was great. It's not something you'd mix with alot of cocktails and is best served on the rocks. I've purchased this over other options because it is reasonably priced and great quality.

I used to bartend and Jameson was my favorite thing to shoot. Once the Caskmates editions came out, I found a new favorite that was still familiar. It was also super popular with patrons, even those who didn't love whiskey. I would absolutely recommend this to any one who wants a delicious, smooth whiskey. 

Honestly I’m not the biggest fan of anything other than a glass of wine. I every now and again will go off and have a drink of whiskey with some friends and the flavor isn’t really my favorite. I don’t know if this is just because I’m more of a wine drinker but it wasn’t too too bad.

This is just barely my favorite Caskmates offering. I am not an IPA fan, too hoppy for me most o f the time, but love what the barrel does to this whiskey! It's almost sweet and floral notes make it a great sipper neat. But it does come alive when paired with an IPA as well. (Friends own a brewery so I have to do it once in a while!)

Interesting variety, not too much of a noticeable difference in mixed drinks. We were gifted this for a house party, and while it was a fun one to experiment with I don’t think the extra cost would be worth it from the original. If I had a specific drink in mind I would buy again, otherwise wait for another gifted bottle.

The jameson-caskmates-ipa-750ml edition for this brand of whiskey is by far my favorite. It has more flavor and is smoother to drink than the traditional jameson-irish-whiskey. If you're a fan of having shots with your beers or just drinking it on the rocks, I definitely recommend trying this one out.
