PlayStation products are as expected, when purchasing. My sons enjoy them. I wish I would have started buying the warranties earlier on. The controllers tend to only last for about 1 yr (I assume it’s planned obsolescence). Now that everything has a digital record, including my Walmart Account, it will automatically save my receipt! I bought the $4 2-yr warranty %26 will (hopefully) save $ when we need to buy another in 1 year🤷🏼‍♀️ we’ll see…

These controllers really have gotten pricier from generation to generation and a lot more sophisticated, maybe unnecessarily so. Having to update the controller with the console this gen seems like asking a bit much. But when a console is designed for artistic aesthetics more than practical function, what can you expect. I'm not really sure the controllers are any better made, but with each generation Sony's controllers have a little more heft to them. I know kids seem to love the new tactile triggers. But I just regard the feature as a battery waster and turn it off, like the vibration function. It doesn't seem to add anything of value in either realism or gaming enhancement, unless the game unnecessarily limits vibration as the only clue prompt or something, rather than an audible cue. If only Sony would focus less on gimmicks and more on quality, their controllers might not need replacing as often. Or they need to make a more bare-boned version without all the unnecessary fluff that's all too often inconsistently used by developers anyway, if used at all. That said PS5 controller sticks seem to hold up a little longer than the PS4 did. Or maybe my nephews just aren't as hard on them as they used to be. Our white controller that came with the console started sticking or free-walking a little after 6 months. I found a few tricks to fixing it online, but wanted another backup just in case it gets worse. And Black Friday is the only time to buy a PS5 controller, if you can wait. The top of this blue controller has an almost pearlescent blue finish, which looks much nicer than previous generations or the black and white versions for the PS5. Of course, in a dark room, it doesn't really matter how nice it looks.

Great Controller like always. They need to make batteries replaceable so customers do not have to buy another controller. This one I bought as a second controller because the batteries die kind of fast in my opinion and I can have another controller on standby.

My grandson had been needing his remote control repaired for a while now,,, so Pappaw came to the rescue and this made a wonderful birthday gift. 🎁 So you ask yourself should I pick it up since I’m going to the store today or should I just order it here, online? Let me Put it this way,,,, it’s the exact same one as in the store except the one in the store was $75 and this one was $49 online….. I think they want to keep people from going to the store and get more into the habit of buying online don’t you? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Absolutely love the quality but wish for a gamer of my they would make the a little more durable I’m alternating between my 6,7,8 PS5 Controllers in three years. Now I know I’m not your average game player I complete two accounts battle passes every season with both COD accounts at level 1000 on MW2. My brother in law just manages to complete 1 battle pass per season and is only in his third controller we got our PS5 on release day. Just need to make the controller a bit more durable for hardcore gamers.

Bought the controller, used it for less than a week and the square button broke and started sticking. Bought another one the same exact color after returning the first one, now after a week of use, the X button is doing the same exact thing. Insane I could use my PS4 controllers constantly for years without issue, and they weren’t even $80
