Conti ProContact SSR (runflat) tires were original equipment on our 2007 BMW 328xit. Having bought Contis for over 35 years for cars and motorcycles, I was glad to see it. On the first set of tires we had comfort along with great performance (enhanced by the Sport Pack and a manual transmission), excellent fuel efficiancy and above all, a perfect fit with all-wheel-drive . In winter, it is not unusual to pass SUVs that are stuck in snow. Early 2010 saw some big snow fall on the East Coast and the tires were up to the task of getting us where we wanted to go. We never hesitated to head out in any kind of weather. This past Fall some long distance fishing trips were planned. While the tread, at +40,000 miles, was serviceable I decided to replace the Contis anyway. What a difference fresh rubber makes! So much so that I called the tire distributer to verify that I mounted the runflats (which can be a bit harsh) rather than the smoother riding non-runflat tires. They confirmed the proper tire (the SSR on the sidewall indicates the tire is a runflat). If you're holding on to tires to get the very last drop of tread out of them, just remember that fresh tires will make a large difference in ride (performance, too, I imagine).It did for us. I have given the highest marks in the ratings above. It was easy to do.

These tires came on my 2010 VW TDi Sportwagen. Having the car just over a year, I've gone through 3 of the 4 original tires. 2 of them from lightly brushing a curb, and the 3rd from a pot-hole. The 4th tire, which is still on my vehicle, has formed ping-pong sized bubble on the sidewall... just noticed this last night, so it'll need replaced as well. I have also been disappointed at the tread life, as it's worn very quickly. I would not recommend these tires. Dissatisfied customer.

Tread wear too fast. Bought brand new late 2017 and tires below 7/32--6/32, 5/32. Normal driving

These tires came on my new Hyundai Elantra. They provided decent service but only lasted 26k miles. YES I kept them properly inflated and rotated.

This tire is very smooth & quiet. Predictable when pushed, but could use some more dry cornering grip. Very good tire though.

I bought these tires about 6 months ago, and they are performing well so far. Ordered them online and had Merchant's tire install them. I would recommend them.

35,000 mile and replacing tires. Rotated every 6k and when I went to the dealer they told me I didn't take care of the car correctly based on the wear of the tires. New car 1.5 years old and 35,000 miles???? Really!

2009 nissan versa 28,000 miles rotate every 5,000 miles, very smooth operation no excuse for such low treadlife cheap junk never again. not recomended.
