Goodyear Assurance CS Fuel Max - 225/65R17 102H Tire

I have 105k on these tires and about to put on another set of the same thing. That probably says everything you should know!

I am satisfied with the Assurance tires. I drove to Florida and they worked fine. Very good in rain.

My experience with Goodyear at this time has been excellent . Their staff at the Huntington store are very courteous and do an tremendous job.

Worthy Tires

Absolutely the worst noise tire I have ever owned. Only have 22,000 miles on tire in 15 months. Getting worse every month.

Noise is terrible

Great looking tire but treads are spreadout enough to capture pebbles/rocks that fly out on the road sometimes. Overall good tire.

Great tread, ride, and handling but captures rocks

This is a value tire. i feel like i have great traction in all weather. it is smooth as well, which helps in my 4Runner.

Great Tire, Great Price

Bought these tires in October and in December they started making noise took back to the dealership got no satisfaction.

Very quiet ride, great traction in snow. Haven't checked fuel mileage savings yet. Would definitely recommend!

Noises picks up rocks and holds them don't ride very well. Won't buy anymore. Didn't get my discount

Poor tires

The set of these tires has been fantastic on our Toyota 4 Runner. They are outstanding in appearance, quality and most importantly, ride comfort!

Great tire!

The Assurance Fuel Max is incorrectly named. I put a set on my 2010 Honda Insight Hybrid and my 2012 Honda Civic Hybrid. My fuel mileage decreased by about 10% on both cars. They are extrememly noisy. They ride like the snow tires of decades ago. They are supposed to be low rolling resistance, but have the opposite effect. When I coast on level streets or downhill, the car actually slows down. The cars have CVT transmissions, so that is not what is causing the slowdowns. I also have a Toyota Avalon Hybrid that came equipped with Bridgestone tires. The gas engine is twice the size of the Honda's, but I am consistently getting 46mpg on the Toyota, while the Hondas have dropped to 41 mpg, from 47 mpg.

Terrible tires

I bought a set of these tires five years ago and just selected the same thing again. Both times I was told that they were good reliable tires by Sam's sales people. I got 55,000 miles from them and probably could have gotten another 5000 but decided my old set has served me well; just time for a new set.
