The stock tires handled good but offered no traction off road. I went to discount tire and they recommended the BFG KO2 in (E) load rating. They said it would be a little heavier but would ride a lot better. I got 275/65/18 and they road force balanced the tires. They also checked the run out on the tires and they where .009 which is amazingly good they told me. The 80psi max load tires where aired up to 46psi cold installed on I was on my way. I have to say these are the best riding tires I have ever owned in an AT. I have owned every other brand of tire and the BFG KO2 are by far the best. Now I have only had this tires a short time but the way these tires handle & ride I am already a huge fan. You get what you pay for and these tires are worth it.

I was really looking forward to getting these tires on my Ram 2500 when the OEM tires wore out. As a previous K/O owner, i was very satisfied with my experiences with the tires. But, something was just not right with these, 24k miles, 10 months, and they are shot. So worn out the shop would not even rotate them. I had gotten 60-80k out of the old version, but these just did not hold up. Seemed to do okay while they had some life to them, just did not last nearly long enough to keep them on the truck. Just not a good combination for me this time around.

I have been running BFG All Terrain T/A KOs on all my trucks for the past 15yrs. I couldn't have been happier with the quality, traction and life of the tires but was getting tired of the same old look. The new design with the more aggressive side wall and slight change in tread pattern was just what I was looking for. These new tires not only gave my truck a fresh new aggressive look but ride great and seem to be quieter then my old set of T/A KOs. I have no doubt the traction and life of these new tires will match if not out preform my old set. I look forward to getting another set for my 2001 Excursion when its time for replacement.

I first encountered the KO fitted new to a 1989 Nissan Safari 4x4 fresh off the boat as a used Japanese import in 1999. 290,000 km later I am on my 3rd set of KOs. Also I am running them on my 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I have never been stuck in mud or snow and have only ever had one puncture. The wear is amazing, 80 to 100,000 km from new down to 3mm tread depth. I find them a quiet running tyre but they do get a bit noisy when the tread wears down below 5-6mm. In short, I love 'em! I can't justify using Mud Terrains because I seldom require anything that aggressive. I'm just a bit annoyed that I can't get a set of KOs in 225-60R18 for my wife's 2011 Suzuki Grand Vitara. Operating conditions: Safari: 265-75R16 on 8" rims. (Australian Spec)* Jeep: 255-70R16 on standard rims (Standard Spec) * Note: Australian spec actually specifies 265-70 section. Bought 265-70-17s for my new Tacoma, was super excited having owned older version of the ATs and loved the new look. From day 1 they were impossible to balance, have 3+ ounces of lead on 3 of the tires and over 4 on the 4th. They have a bad crown in them even though being run on a 17 x 8.5 rim(should be the correct size as far as I know). Though somewhat balanced they ride super rough on roads, like riding on tires made of wood, picking up every bump despite having a custom Bilstein suspension. I would not buy these again and I am looking for other good AT options to replace these bad tires with.

I bought these junk tires 5 months ago and can NOT get rid of the wobble. 2 dealers have balances them 3 times. My alignment was done by the first dealer and rechecked by the second. Still wobble. These ties are junk. But they do hold the road well in all types of weather.

Tire size 285/75/R16 mounted on a 6.5" Rim. These tires performed great! Up until about 2/32's tread they did great in rain, snow, and regular driving conditions. I never used the tire for off road purposes as I have a 2WD Truck. I did mainly on road driving and towing a trailer about 4-5 days a week. The few times I was off road they performed well in everything but mud. I always ran max psi in the rear tires so that may have contributed to poor tread life, but it was mainly an issue with towing. I got around a year out of these tires or about 25,000-30,000 miles. I would recommend this tire for anyone not regularly towing a trailer. Great performance and if I have a vehicle that doesn't tow, I would happily purchase these again.

I bought my 1st set of BF Goodrich 285/55/20 KO2 T/A in November 2017, and never & I mean never had any issues whatsoever other than a nail or screw. Other than that, outstanding durability and performance. I believe this is the top tier of tires. Now that I’m looking into replacing them with a new set, has become extremely expensive & difficult. Any possibility of bypassing the middle man & purchase directly from the manufacturer ?

I've only been running this tire for about a month, but so far the BFG A/T KO2 lives up to the reputation of the A/T KO. For the aggressiveness of the tread pattern the tire has very good street manners and is very quiet. It handles well on dirt/gravel roads. It does well in mud considering its not a "Mud" tire. They maintain traction well on wet roads. I haven't had the opportunity to try them in sand, but I'm confident they will do as well if not better than the old BFG A/T KOs. I really like more aggressive side wall pattern.

The tire look good, but the tread life on a heavy duty pickup is poor. These lasted roughly 26000 miles before they needed to be replaced. Had about 1000 mile of towing my travel trailer on them. So nothing crazy. I also rotated them every 5000 miles or so when ever I got an oil change.
