Sporty but comfortable ride

Just did my first long drive since putting the Eagle Sport A/S tires on my Mustang GT with stock 16" wheels (225/55-R16 tire size). Compared to my previous 3 sets of tires over 150,000 miles, the new tires are smooth riding, quiet and comfortable. Steering was accurate and controlled but the trade-off to the softer sidewalls is more pronounced body roll and understeer during very spirited driving. For general sporty driving, these tires are nice, especially for the price. But if you expect track ready handling, I suggest a sportier tire. I have not driven the tires under wet conditions yet so no comments on that.

A Very Nice Tire

For the most part, this is a good tire. It preforms very well. I am able to drive in fresh snow without much problems. The tires preform smoothly in the snow. They do alright on ice. They are very good in dry and wet conditions. They are not very comfortable tires. Overall, they stick to the road very well and they look nice.

Excellent improvement over stock factory tires

I wanted a tire that would outperform the Yokohama tires that came on my 2014 Mazda 3 and these tires were a great improvement. Better handling, lower ride noise and overall feeling of more support while driving. These tires made my car drive much better, especially on curves and turns.

Noisy, stiff, and did I mention noisy?

I really wanted to like these tires. But they are very noisy and loud at speeds over 50 mph. On speaker phone, callers ask what the loud background noise is while im driving. unlike with my previous tires. They handle much better, but my 45 series profiles have very stiff sidewalls so every bump and imperfection is amplified. They are a much stickier tire, so i lost a few mpg. On cement freeways, the ride over 60 mph is horrible with a slapping sound. I am embarrassed to give others a ride if it involves any cement roads, On rough asphalt they roar. On smooth pavement, they are smooth and very quite. It's like day and night. I now have 45k miles on them and they do wear really well. I can probably go another 20K miles till replacement. I will be choosing a different tire next time, these didnt work out well for me

Good bang for your buck across the board

Quieter than the OE tires and the three other sets in between. They handle and grip great in dry conditions. On wet pavement, from a stop, even under a light load they'll break traction, especially on concrete which is a majority of the driving surfaces in my metro area. Their cornering ability is great even on a heavy sport sedan like I have. On the highway they are more quiet and comfortable than I expected and moreso than any of the four sets I've previously run.

Great performance tire

I drive a Taurus SHO, I do not baby the car all the time, meaning, when I need to change lanes in the dry I go, no problems at all. In the rain, this tire is awesome,in the snow driven properly the tire is great. For all the folks that do not drive properly, that do not rotate tires every 5000 miles, do not have good shocks, do not check the alignment every 6 months, your reviews mean nothing. If your going to buy a performance tire, treat the car properly and the tires will do a great job. Reviews are nice to read from responsible drivers. I could say much more, but will tell you, I have been doing alignments and wheel balance, and know when to rotate tires, for over 40 years. I love reviews from people that haven't a clue what to expect from a tire, on a vehicle that is not properly taken care of. When you buy a tire get expert advice, not some accountant you spoke to at a bar, or a so called mechanic, talk to a tire tech that not only knows the tire, but knows cars.

Good tires

Happy with the tires. Good handling, good traction. Lower profile tires such as these 245/45/17 tires will always ride rougher than taller passenger car tires so don't expect a luxury car ride. Like the appearance of the tire so much better than some other comparable Name brand All Season tires. These have a more traditional looking tread design and shoulder/sidewall appearance. These are a good replacement for the same basic stock appearance of the original 245/45/ZR17 Eagles that came with the car. They aren't speed rated though if that is important to you. Cannot review the snow/ winter traction as my car isn't driven in the snow.

So far, so good!

I've had these tires on my manual Mazda3 sGT for about 3 months/1500 miles and I've enjoyed them so far. I feel that they lose traction slightly faster than I would like them to in the wet, but are solid in the dry. Having a bit of a lead foot may play a part in that. That said, when the pedal is down, they do tend to sing a little bit (which I actually enjoy. Adds to the sound of the car) I haven't taken them touring yet, but don't think it'll be a problem for these new rubbers. I'll report back in the warmer months.

excellent tire for the price

Tires have close to 60k miles and only 2 need to be replaced so far. Tires are excellent until about 45k miles and starts losing traction on wet conditions. Usually dont drive in snow unless absolutely necessary however rear wheel drive so doesnt go well to begin with

The tires perform well in dry and wet weather, but not in sn

The Eagle All Season tire may be a decent snow tire, but not on the 2103 Ford Fusion. This may be a car problem more than a tire problem. This is by far the worst snow car I've ever driven and I live in the Buffalo, NY area. The combination of tire and Ford Fusion are definitely not good for the snow. Do you have another tire that would work better in snowy weather with the 2013 Ford Fusion?
