Vehicle - 2022 Lexus RX 350L. I replaced the Bridgestone ecopia OEM tires at 35k miles due to wear (they are 55k tires) with Michelin Crossclimate 2 tires after considerable research. I have had Michelin tires on a number of vehicles over the years, and apart from a set of Primacy tires, I have always been pleased. While the Crossclimate 2 tires had great traction, especially when wet, there were two serious problems with them. Immediately noticeable was that they did not track well, and needed constant correction on the highway, and it almost seemed that the power steering was increased. But the major problem was with gas mileage. Probably a 15-20% drop in mileage which meant range dropping from about 440 to 385 per tank-full I’m changing to another brand this week. Disappointing after doing what I thought was some extensive research. Reading other reviews and postings on forums, this seems to be a common problem.

I bought the MICHELIN® CrossClimate®2 tires for my car after reading about their impressive performance in various conditions12. I have to say, I am very satisfied with my purchase. These tires are amazing! They stop shorter than other tires I have tried, both on dry and wet pavement. They also last longer, which is great for saving money and reducing waste. And they handle well on snow, which is important for me living in Northern Ohio. I feel safe and confident driving with these tires, no matter the weather. They are truly all-season tires that deliver on their promises. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, durable, and versatile tire. Excellent grip (accelerating and braking) and ride in all conditions. First road trip MN->SD this past summer was a pleasure on both dry and wet roads. Recently had a 20” snowfall this winter and again was very pleased with all aspects of the tires.

Wow what a difference ! I own a Cadillac 2014 CTS 3.6l and have just had these tyres fitted. Having previously had the Michelin Sport tires fitted which I was very pleased with and completed over 30000 miles without losing any air or issues. These new Crossclimate 2 tyres are rated at 2X the mileage of my previous tyres and I was expecting a firmer ride. Much to my surprise these tyres ride beautifully with a softer ride and good handling.These tyres have great Michelin support and despite their price I do believe these are good value.

I travelled yesterday in one of my most adventurous drives along the snowstorm direction from Chicago to Detroit. I94 was a combination of slosh pit and fresh accumulated snow at various stretches. Michigan roads were bad to start with. But this tire (and some driving skills, well tire mainly) kept me going at 65 to 70 MPH in that snow and gave me a lot of confidence to drive over. As some users have noted can't speak of its performance well into its life but these were installed 2 months ago and had very less mileage on them as of writing this review. If you hit a heap of snow as in when changing lanes though - because of the way the tire is grooved to let a lot of rain and snow flow outwards you will see a significant slowdown than other tires. It is good if you are in control and have no vehicle around but bad if you are in a traffic. Just the driver has to account for this change in performance style compared to other tires (Ex: Michelin Defender). Another major downside of this tire is on grooved roads - it becomes wobbly thanks to the non continuous contact patch type tread design but isnt dangerous in anyway. Same goes for snow. And despite that wobbliness, cornering in this is a hoot. If these downsides don't bother you, this tire is brilliant and the tread design aesthetic gets full points from me.

I've had these on my 2014 Avalon Limited for about a year now. I got them after the surprise snowstorm we had because I saw they were fine in the summer, too. These are honestly the best tires I've ever had. I've always wanted a quieter tire, especially on highway sections where they've put down a layer of gravel over tar, making it very noisy to drive on. There's still some noise, of course, but this is the first tire that has ever made a noticeable difference. I've had no issues with how the car handles or anything. I had to dodge a surprise armadillo on the road recently and had to make a pretty aggressive maneuver to steer around him. My back end only lost traction for a fraction of a second and my steering remained solid. I also noticed a big difference in how well these tires cut through those water ruts that are on some highways. There's another instance where I've seen a big difference with these tires. There's far less resistance when you drive along those extended patches of road water. Unfortunately, we didn't get any snow or sleet this past winter, so there's nothing I can say right now about how well they do there. I waited through the whole winter to write this review, but I decided to go ahead and post it without the winter report.

I purchased these ties on reviews. Some reviews stated that their Auto lost gas mileage. We own a 2020 Cadillac XT-5, V-6 310 HP, AWD. Before on the original tires we where getting 19.7 to 20.3 MPH. Highway mileage was the most 24.5. With these new CrossClimate2, the gas mileage increased to almost 23 MPG in the city and not quite 27 Highway. Only 1 time we received 34 MPG when we used the cruse control. The tire are quite, smooth riding and you do not hear any noise and good stopping in rain. Yes, I would recommend to a friend.

I purchased my CrossClimate 2 tires for my Honda Ridgeline G2 in preparation for Wisconsin winter. Turns out it barely snowed in my area last winter so I can't really rate the tires snow performance. I can say I've been highly impressed with the tire's wet and dry performance. Very stable in all conditions and I have noted a slight improvement in gas economy. There is a slight hum from the tires, but I only noticed it when I first purchased the tires and was curious about it. Since then I never notice road noise. Highly satisfied with my purchase and will definitely purchase again unless a CrossClimate 3 comes out first.

When I bought my SUV, first thing I did is go to my tire shop for Michelin tires. I wanted Defenders which I have and love on my truck, but they didn’t come in my new SUV’s size. As we’re in the Pacific Northwest, the shop suggested the Cross Climate 2. It’s been several years of great driving in rain, snow, on gravel roads, lots of mountain roads (where black ice can be unavoidable), and these tires never give me pause. I just brought my car in for the tires to be rotated at 40K mikes, and the shop said my tires have lots of wear left; plus the wear is nice and even. The only downside is that I’ve lost several mpg in fuel efficiency, but when I’m safely driving 4,000 ft mountain passes in driving rain or snow, that seems like a fair trade off.

I bought a set for my Chevy Impala back in August. 10th generation Impala’s are quiet as is but this tire made it even more. Recently with living in Wisconsin we have had a mix of snow and rain making slush mess. This tire made driving in it like it wasn’t even there. I was bit skeptical when first purchasing these and with the somewhat higher price compared to other options but I am now sold. Well worth the price for noise reduction and handling of winter weather. Would recommend to anyone who lives in Midwest who truly deal with all seasons of weather sometimes even in one day.
