Awesome tire

Had these tires replace original Bridgestone Duellers on my 2018 GMC Yukon XL. Great ride, handling and quiet. Original replacement were Toyo Open Country but did not work with my vehicle at all. Tire dealer changed to Michelin after one month and difference was night/day. Definitely worth slight cost premium.

Great Tires!

Bought in the winter in Canada. Handled the snow and ice with ease. Little bit of slipping here and there but acted like a regular winter tire. I was really impressed. Very quiet and responsive. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Highly recommend. They look sharpe as well and the side wall always stays black.

Great tires

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 tires are great, they are really nice premium tires. They make my ride drive so much smoother. They handle really well in many conditions but for me it rains a lot where I live so they especially perform well when its wet. Dry weather conditions the performance is also amazing. I definitely feel like these tires are made to last, whether you are daily commuter or driving long distance, I really feel like these tires excel on the road and are very quiet tires when driving. When turning they are more supportive in maintaining control. They are superior quality tires and I'm super happy with this brand of tires on my SUV. I would highly recommend these tires they are a definite must have on your truck or SUV.

Great tire but harder compound and don’t grip as well in the rain as the previous model

I have the F rated 35x12.5R22 tires on my 21 Ram 1500. These tires are great, but in hindsight I would have bought the metric equivalent in the E rating. These tires are heavy and stiff, and not as good as the Michelin tires I had on my last Tam. They weren’t the 2 series.

Perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love them, this brand is well known for having excellent quality and for so many years having remained the best tires of all time. I have a company with 2 trucks and for 10 years I have only used Michelin tires, in their facilities they have the best customer service, they are fast and thorough with every detail. I put these Defenders on my Thoe, I love the stability it provides to my vehicle and the durability. I take a lot of family trips, and I am in all climates with my car, these tires are all I need, I know I will be safe with them. Excellent quality-price. Having Michelin tires will be your best decision. 100% recommended

Awesome tires.

Don’t let the “all season” fool you. They definitely deserve to have the M/S on the side wall. I would even argue the 3PMSF. They are super grippy in the snow and cold. Seemed to be quiet and comfortable. They have been out in plus degree weather and -20 and handled with ease. Tread life is amazing as well. They look sleek and the design is smooth. Highly recommend these tires. You do really get what you paid for.

Great tires. Pay now or pay later

Now on second year on ford f150 best tire I’ve found to date. Getting ready to purchase a set for our jeep gladiator. Third set I’ve owned first set had 90K on honda pilot. Now at 52K on ford still look new. Great in winter. I know they don’t look like good snow tires. But they are the best

Great tires but could use improvement in this regard.

I just ordered a set of 275-55-R20 Defender LTX M/S2's to replace my older LTX2's and found that they still use a bar code sticker molded into the bead. On my old set of M/S2's this sticker caused a severe leak on three of my four wheels. This sticker caused moisture to collect between the rim and sticker and eventually corroded the aluminum rim. I had to dismount all four tires, remove the corrosion from the rim and remount with bead sealer after removing the sticker and re balance. Fortunately I was able to do all this myself as I have a friend that has the proper equipment to do it. Otherwise I would have to pay for it. Why put this sticker in this location???

Not smooth, not quiet, but very capable

This is a nice truck tire, but it is a truck tire. I can feel every bump and seam on the highway. It's noisy and unrefined, so I suppose this is a truck tire. I puchased a set for a 2018 Lincoln Navigator and the tires removed the luxury aspect of the vehicle. Thanks to Michelin's ride satisfaction promise, I was able to exchange the Defender LTX M/S2 for a set of CrossClimate2 SUV tires. The ride quality and noise is like night and day. Moving from a Highway All-Season (LTX) to a Grand Touring AS (CrossClimate) was the answer. I would not buy the LTX again for a luxury vehicle.
