Horribly LOUD & NOT LIKE the old wonderful) Michelins

I bought the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 (ZR rated) for my Lexus LS. These tires are SO NOISY!! They are also hard and you feel the shock from rough roads. They are much noisier than my old Michelin tires. However, they are much better than the Michelin Primacy mxm4 A/s which I swapped for the Pilot Sport. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID both the Primacy mxm4 and Pilot Sport. Being EV ready, they are low rolling resistance, hard rubber and LOUD. They do not perform anything like the Pilot Sports of 5-10 years ago, which were stellar tires. I am very, very disappointed. MICHELIN SHOULD HAVE SEPARATE LINES FOR EV AND EFFICIENCY AND OTHER LOW CLASS CARS, AND A DIFFERENT LINE FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT THE WONDERFUL QUIETER, SOFTER AND SMOOTHER TIRES UPON WHICH MICHELIN BUILT ITS PRIOR REPUTION. One positive: it is good that Michelin has its 60 day swap program. Given the poor quality and NOISE of these new Michelin kinds of tires (all of which are designated by Michein as EV Ready), I will probably move to a cheaper tire mfgr whose tires are grippier and not as LOUD and save the money.

Good all-around tire

These are excellent "all-around" tires that provide reasonable traction in rain/snow/ice, allowing me to go through up to 6 inches of snow this winter without difficulty. This is surprising, given that my Cadillac CTS4 Performance Coupe is quite low, and has staggered tire sizes. The rear "steamrollers" should NOT do well in the snow, but yours do. On dry pavement, the ride is as smooth as can be expected in a low-profile tire, and handling is quite good. It is not as good as a dedicated, high-performance summer tire but, again, it is a great compromise.

Perplexed

I purchased a set of pilot sport all season 4 plus 285/45 r20 y 112. I noticed that the tread design on the left of the car is pointed in an upward tread direction (^) and the right side is in the downward direction (v). All four tires say "outside" on tire wall. I have never seen a tire that has opposite directional patterns from right side of vehicle to left side of vehicle. Please shed some light on this and/or let me know if I should return to the shop that sold this set to me. All this being said, tires show exceptional grip and road confidence in dry conditions.

Best mileage yet.

Tire performs well. Tires are on BMW 330Ci. Have tried a few other brands. Would normally achieve half (20 to 24k) of recommended tread life. These Pilot Sport AS4 tires have provided the longest durability achieving 40k of tread life. Plus, they handle well and provide a great driving experience.

Overpriced Underperforming Product

Absolutely disappointing product and quality . Bought a car that came with these underperforming overpriced tires that were installed at 12,500 miles on an audi s5 at just 22,500 miles 2 of these tires blew up on me on the road as i was driving 35mph and the other 2 they're already down to about 5/32 thread life i hear these are warranted until 45k miles but ill be lucky to get 7k miles out of the two that are left honestly will never be purchasing from this brand as they like to mark up their prices based on their brand prestige but they really fall short of what they are giving their customers. I would honestly recommend to people considering buying this tire to go with a cheaper alternative like a yokohama or continental as they arent perfect either but atleast you wont break your wallet by overpaying for a tire that can easily explode and wear out like the michellin ps4 ‘s . Never again will i use Michelin products not even for free i honestly don't see the justification for the price of this tire especially since lots of customers constantly report that these

Not durable

I'm extremely disappointed with the durability of my Michelin tires. I purchased them just about a month ago, expecting the quality and reliability the brand is known for. Unfortunately, after a very normal driving experience, one of my tires already has noticeable sidewall damage. This was not due to reckless driving, but from a common road condition that any tire should reasonably withstand. For a premium-priced tire, I expected much better durability and resilience. It's frustrating to invest in a trusted brand only to experience damage so quickly after purchase. Tires are supposed to provide safety and peace of mind, and right now, I'm feeling the opposite. I am hoping Michelin will stand behind their product and consider a replacement or some form of support, as this experience does not reflect the quality I believed I was paying for.

Excellent Overall Tire for Mercedes S-Class

I have the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 installed on my 2016 Mercedes S550 4Matic with staggered 19" AMG wheels. My initial impression was that the steering and braking felt more responsive with the Michelin compared to the competitor brand they replaced, but the ride wasn't as quiet or as smooth as I expected from a Michelin on an S-Class. The next morning, I leveled out the air pressure in all 4 tires to my preferred PSI which restored the comfort level. After a few weeks and many heat cycles, there is no longer any noticeable noise. More importantly the tire provides an insane amount of grip on dry and wet roads. The Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 paired with all wheel drive inspires confidence and encouragement for those of us who enjoy spirited driving.

Lexus LS460 Ribber

Bought these tires for my "New to Me" 2012 Lexus LS460. Ride improved greatly. These tires are also very quiet. While my car isn't a sports car, it does have a top speed of 150+, so I needed a "Z" speed rating. While it doesn't like to be pushed, the grip does feel more stable. Over all highly impressed with these tires.

The BEST

I have purchased hundreds of sets of tires over the years... from winter tires to work tires for our vans to race track slicks... nothing beats Michellin... hands down. Michellin tires are always the smoothest ride, best traction and longest lasting tires... and I've tried most other brands. I would only buy Michellin's no matter what vehicle I have. The BEST!
