I just replaced Continental run-flat tires with the Pilot Sport All Season 4 (non run-flats). It is made a massive difference. The tires ride smoothly, steer precisely, braking is improved, and wet performance is so much better and confidence inspiring. A great combination of both sport and luxury. As to a number of comments about the tires being noisy, they really aren't any noisier than competitive tires or the tires predecessor, the A's 3+. I think it's just that the tone of the noises a little bit higher pitched and therefore more noticeable to some people. On the other hand, I noticed that there is no noise difference when driving on asphalt and concrete, which is unusual because most tires tend to be louder on concrete. Not so with these tires.

I bought these tires to replace the Pirelli's on my Ford Explorer ST and they make the drive to Montana (over 1,000 miles one way) very pleasant! We drive multiple times from California to Montana a few times a year and absolutely love these tires. I'll definitely buy these again when they need to be replaced.

Significantly louder than the HX MXM4's they replaced. Noise starts right at 40mph and gets significantly louder at highway speeds. Likely going to swap them out for another brand as this is the only Michelin tire that fits 245/50/R17. Tire handles great but I just can't deal with the noise.

I live in NJ and put these on my car in October. Debated getting winter tires but wasn't sure if I needed something that extreme. Replaced the stock pilot sport 4S (also a great tire) to get ready for cold, wet, and sometimes snowy roads here in northern NJ. Have 3500 miles on them currently and couldn't be happier. Very confidence inspiring tires in the extreme cold and wet or dusting of snow and are capable in a few inches of snow on the road. MPG is down 1-2 miles and I haven't noticed the road noise that some people mention. Very happy so far.

I recently purchased a Tesla model Y equipped with a set of Michelin Pilot Sport All Season tires, compelled by the brand's reputation and the specific design tailored for electric vehicles. Given the premium price tag, my expectations were understandably high, both in terms of performance and durability. Unfortunately, my experience has fallen short in several key areas, most notably in the longevity of the tires, which has left me questioning their value. First off, Michelin claims these tires are engineered to meet the unique demands of electric vehicles, promising enhanced traction, efficiency, and a quieter ride. While the initial performance was satisfactory, providing a decent grip and a somewhat quieter experience, the tires quickly showed signs of wear far sooner than anticipated. The manufacturer advertises a certain mileage expectancy for these tires, but my set began to show significant wear well before reaching even 50% of the promised mileage. This was under normal driving conditions, without excessive hard braking or aggressive cornering that might otherwise justify such rapid wear. What's more frustrating is that when you invest in a Michelin product, especially something as specialized as the Pilot Sport EV tires, you expect durability that matches the premium outlay. Unfortunately, this has not been the case. It's disheartening to see a product from a brand as reputable as Michelin fail to live up to its mileage claim, which is a fundamental expectation for any tire purchase.

Purchase these for all-season use in California. Rode these through the recent cyclone storm with no issues. No hydroplaning and complete confidence in braking and cornering. Ride is quieter than I thought. I drive a EV so only noise is from the tires which was not really noticeable. Only thing I would change is the lip of the tire seems to offer little protection for my brand new wheels. It sits flush with the lip of the wheel and I can already foresee curb rashes. If they can bring out the lip of the tire a bit more to protect the rim, I would give it 5 stars. Othere than that, a super high performance tire. I take off fast, corner fast, and stop fast so a high performance tire is required.

Things i heard about Michilin tires from tire guys who have handled all different types, said that Michilin has the best overall highest quality and attention to detail. I have only owned my new set of tires for about a week, but they are perfect. Grips amazing, super quiet, smooth, feel sturdy and safe. 2008 Ford Fusion. Not real powerful, but if you keep your gas and oils clean and new theyll run for quite a while. Amsoil in engine, tranny, ps, and coolant. Runs like butter. Mazda 6 frame and suspension, so handles righteously.

Why dont they make this in a 225/50/18 I just got a 2017 subaru legacy 3.6R Limited and they made the pilot sport a/s 3's in that size in a W speed rating, I'm looking for new tires to improve the ride and handling and everything about my car, but why should I go with a michelin if I have to settle for the old technology in the a/s 3? The a/s 4 is the newer successor with more and better technology, I got a subaru with all wheel drive so I can run a sportier tire all year long with my geographic area with occasional snow, I might just have to settle for an all season tire without a sport focus, which I dont want to do, I want an all season with a sport focus, but why should I go with an a/s 3 when there is a newer tire in the a/s 4? The answer to that is because unfortunately the a/s 4 is not available in my size, and I don't want to go with a nonfactory size either, troubling matter for a loyal michelin fan like myself, just wondering if their are plans at all to bring the a/s 4 to the market in more sizes at all? If so, i'd be interested in possibly getting some, have not actually bought the product, my ratings are just based off of my experience with michelin products in general, which have been pretty good, really honestly interested in either the cross climate 2 in the 225/50/18 in a v speed rating or higher or the a/s 4 in a w speed rating or higher, I have no use for the cross climate suv tire in my size which is designed with too high of a load rating for my sedan which would ultimately only result in an unnecessarily harsh ride since my vehicle is somewhat lighter weight, not much tire support for my vehicle in this size from michelin unfortunately, at least no tire support in the tire models that I want :(

I bought these today 1/25/21 at 12pm and drove for approximately 100 miles and boy let me tell you. I came from Pirelli scorpion run flat tires and it is a night and day difference. These Michelin's are on the money. What a smooth floaty drive on my 17' X5 MSPORT. These tires are very sticky as I hear them when I roll down the windows. Very responsive steering improvement from runflats. These tires are everything. I feel much safer having my family in the car. Thank you Michelin.

Had continental DWS-06 on my wrx and switched to Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4. Didn't expect much and boy was I wrong! On ramps and corners are like being on rails! I literally can go so much faster around corners and no give, no noise, these tires never miss a beat! These are better than the Pilot Super Sport that I have on my BMW, and these are suitable for year round performance. I was considering several options and brands, but in the end I relied on my past experiences with Michelin and went with these. So glad I did, I'm never looking back. Love the look of these and love how they perform. Now I can see why they're OE on the C8 vette amazing product Michelin, thanks for living up to your reputation (again!)
