The Westinghouse iGen4500 Dual Fuel generator delivers an ideal power solution for dual air conditioner RVs and campers. This fuel efficient, super quiet generator features 3,700 running watts and 4500 peak watts, an RV and camper ready 120V 30A (TT-30R) outlet, push-button electric start, an LED Data Center, and a telescoping handle with rear wheels for easy transportation. It features dual fuel capability and will be able to run on propane or gasoline.

Safe & Convenient

The iGen4500 Dual Fuel inverter generator produces clean power allowing safe operation of sensitive electronics such as computers, televisions, tablets, and mobile phones. The iGen4500 Dual Fuel features remote start which is operated by key fob, adding to the convenience starting this generator from inside your home or RV. The iGen4500 also features Push Button Start on its control panel. The LED Display cycles through Remaining Run Time, Power Output, Fuel Level, and Voltage. Other indicators include Fuel Level, Electric Output, Output Ready Indicator, Overload Indicator, and Low Oil Indicator.

This generator is CARB compliant. California Air Resources Board (CARB) compliant generators must meet more stringent air quality standards set by the environmental protection agency and run cleaner than non-compliant models. Currently, California residents cannot buy non-CARB compliant generators.

WOULD NOT START !!!

The iGEN4500 units seem to have a ongoing problem with the choke as this one also has this same problem, after viewing some UTUBES I removed the right side cover and found that the choke was not plugged in, after I plugged it in everything worked OK. See pics

One issue

I waited a long time for this to become available. I wanted the remote start capability, duel fuel, and the reported fuel economy. Having it run for a longer time on a gallon of gas when you are way up in the mountains can be important. So far I love everything. It starts super easy, runs very quiet, and I could run my AC and the microwave at the same time in my RV. It would have received 5 stars except for a tag attached to the front panel saying that I should turn of the propane source when it is not running. If I need to go out and turn on the propane every time I want to use it, that makes the remote start useless! I did however connect a propane tank (after weighing it) and found that after a week without using it, I still had the same amount of fuel

Love the Power and Portability!

I purchased this generator for tailgating. I was initially looking at the smaller 2500 watt 30lb units but wanted enough power to be able use at my house during an outage. This was the only 4000W generator I could find that a reasonable weight for a 1-person carry. All the others weighed 80-100lbs. It's also one of the quietest generators of it's size at 52db. It comes with the propane adaptor, some tools, and an oil funnel. Most other brands sell those accessories for an added cost. It was very easy to get it up and running. I'm very happy with this purchase.
