They were designated as non-denominational at the outset, so people could continue to use them even if U.S. First Class postage increased. This happened in 2014, when the rate increased from .46 cents to .49 cents; customers who purchased Forever postage stamps were still able to use their stamps without paying for additional postage at the increased First-Class Mail one-oz. rate.</p> <h3>When Were These Forever Postage Stamps Issued?</h3> <p>This roll of Forever U.S. postage First Class stamps were issued on January 29, 2016. Postal Stamps

I am old school and love to send actual cards and I still write letters.  So this was a game changer for me.

Easy and convenient

Of course the stamps are great but being left off of my curbside pickup was significant. It caused me a return trip from New Albany to get my stamps. And to do that, I encountered a very abrupt and rude telephone person who talked loudly over me, hardly allowing me to speak.

Service Was Lacking On This One

Roll of Stamps arrived crushed and bent ~ I couldn't get the end of roll to let go of the 1st couple of stamps ~ it would have been work a trip to the post office
