If you don’t eat it all right away it spoils very quickly. I’ve tried various methods to stop the wilting but nothing seems to work. I hope they keep the price low.

Wilts so easily

It is mostly iceberg lettuce. The rest is red cabbage and carrots. It’s a great combination for me. No washing. Just in a bowl, add dressing, toss and eat. I have this everyday. 2lbs and under $3. Can’t beat it. Just check the date. Typically it stays great 2-3 days before expiration if kept refrigerated. You can often still eat it a day or two after the date.

Best band for buck. Great salad maker

The Garden Salad is a nice mixture of Iceberg Lettuce, cut into bite sizes pieces, along with shredded carrots and red cabbage that adds color and texture.  A quick salad on its own or use as a base to any salad mixture.  At our house I add shredded radish, cucumber slices and tomatoes. 
If you don't use the entire bag, make it airtight and it will stay fresh for 2 to 3 days.
We use it at our dinner table 3 to 4 nights a week.

Salad in a Bag

Good price but once you open the bag, be sure to finish it quickly as it starts to go brown almost immediately within a few days. I've had salad that's lasted longer.

Feedback

This salad is delicious however if you can’t eat it in two days you are throwing away your money. It only lasts two days after opening. I really like the amount of carrots in the salad it make it crunchy and tasty.

After opening, it barely lasts a couple of days. I love the convenience for a salad since it has cabbage and carrots included but doesn’t last like normal spring mix or other salads.

Great value for the amount. But once its opened it starts to turn brown within one day, and I can't eat it that fast. So it becomes a waste.

I wish it stayed fresh longer.

They get wilty so fast. It's often a good value, but typically only good for a couple of days, assuming you don't mind picking out the wilty pieces (which you usually have some immediately).

Usually good if purchasing for same night

It use to be better before they put it in the walk in fridge. It goes bad really fast now. Before the expiration date. A lot of the bags look like its frozen and the lettuce is already browning on the edges. So you have to look through all the bags to find a half way good one. Its an excellent price on it as long as you can eat it all by the 2nd day. Im still buying it cause even if i only eat half the bag and have to trash the other half its still cheaper than anywhere else. I wish they would take it out of the walkin fridge like it use to be.

2 of the last 3 times I’ve ordered salad for curbside pickup have been disappointing. Lots of brown pieces and too much air in the bag … causing bruising. Pickers need to be trained to choose better.
