Picked these up for our beach vacation to a summer rental. We like to cook our own meals often. You never know what the house you are renting will have, and this solves the food storage issues easily. This has big containers that are perfect for large cut fruits like watermelons and cantaloupe for those hot days that the kids can grab with ease. They also fit perfectly in the bottom of a medium sized yeti.

Great for vacations

One would pay much more individually for these items than buying them together like this. Not to mention the difficulty in finding the various size and shapes. It is well worth the $20.

Outstanding value

This is a fantastic value for all that you get. There's a nice variety of sizes and the quality is great. These are not heirloom containers which makes them even better. You won't mind if your child loses one and you can send your guests home with them without having to worry about getting it back.

Value and Convenience

i needed to replace a few pieces of my rubbermaid vented containers...these are not the heaviest plastic, but for me, at 84 and disabled..better!..i like the screw on lids for small round, puddings, etc..easy for me..prying lids up off containers has gotten harder for me...i love the double sided that i haven't had for years..chips and salsa in den!..or..lettuce wraps..i will use to prepare meals and reserve as they go from freezer to micro...very happy, will have extras!!..the large container i will use for other storage..but great for kids things also...books, etc..lids work well on all

rubbermaid plastic containers..large set

I love these storage containers.  I send leftovers with my family and friends, and I tell them to keep the container, so I need to restock often.  They are a great value and they don't leak.  I would recommend them to everyone.

Always Great

This is a great assortment of storage bowls/lids.  I really like the various sizes, from small to large, and the housing tote is a great addition.  The lids fit well making this a must have item.  Additionally, the price is amazing!  
The reason for only 4 stars is due to the thickness of the set.  I have some older Rubbermade bowls that are tough as nails.  When purchasing this set, I didn't realize it was of a thinner quality.  I use these types of bowls daily from refrigerator, to freezer, to microwave and I'm not sure how they will hold up.  In saying that, I've NOT experienced any issues yet, including them being in the dishwasher.  I'm just not used to the "flex" of the product.  Regardless, for the price, this is a great set and I'd buy it again. Just want others to know that they are made thinner and intended as "takealong" bowls, like the name implies.  :)

Great assortment of sizes

Nice Rubbermaid set.  I like the containers with the screw on lids.  The only containers I won't get much use from are the ones with the compartments. Good variety.

Containers of all sizes

For the price can't expect too much. One of the containers already cracked from just a little tap of a spoon. Not very sturdy but they get the job done

Pretty flimsy

Each container we've used so far has broken or the lid broke with the first use. Definitely a different material than ones we've purchased in the past.
